still no way to avoid the duplicating the open/close/minimize buttons at the taskbar and the window itself. Bummer

Well, that is because of GTK using CSD and Qt apps using SSD. So for QT apps you can tell the "window button applet" on the taskbar to only show when a window is maximised. With this you can also instruct all QT apps to hide their window buttons on maximised so that you won't get duplicate of the buttons. However With Gtk apps you can't instruct it to hide their window buttons on maximise.

Not even close to a real mac interface. try not to imitate the look only by ignoring the also possible mimic of the functionality. KDE is not suitable for creating a mac-like experience.

i dont care about kde. ubuntu unity is the best desktop that exists. its greater than windows. its greater than mac os.

KDE полный шлак, элементарные скруглённые углы невозможно сделать так чтоб это выглядело как единое целое. постоянно какие то недоделки, сплошные костыли. как то всё кусками в одном окне дельфина где-то прозрачно где-то непрозрачно, неоднородно всё, через задницу короче сделано, больше чем уверен, что и kwin до сих пор не рабочий и глючный как всегда. Даже эти три кнопки в панели не пропадают в полном экране на окне и в оконном режиме не пропадают с панели. криво косо всё. никогда не поставлю кеды, самое убогое окружение.

Так это на любом DE так, сплошные недоделки и костыли. На Gnome назве не тоже самое? В Cinnamon все вообще гвоздями прибитое и отсталое.

@@alexwhite252 дружище гном по сравнению с кедами на порядок выше, самая главная проблема гнома это с каждым релизом падают расширения. А так, лет 10 на гноме от Arch Linux и не парюсь. корица и крыса это прошлый век в их сторону вообще не смотрю, убого. виндой пользуюсь только если в форточку побегать, да и то уже забыл когда это было. да всегда есть нюансы всё зависит от конфига ПК, но какими не пользовался всегда беда с кедами, а гном едет без проблем, заметных, скажем так.
