The guys with the cameras are fantastic. Split-second timing from overview, to view from the inside of the pocket (pot). Really cool.

Selby can change his game to suit the opponent. He's an adaptive player and that's why he's such a dangerous player. He's good at mind games and has the patience of a Saint. He's a joy to watch
@Sharukin88Arsanis2 жыл бұрын
Agree on most points. but I thought he could have been a bit more gracious in defeat at the end of the match and shaken hands with Robertson. Well, may be the power of money gained or lost has a great deal to do with our attitudes. So much for the Olympian spirit.

@@Sharukin88Arsanis First of all, be careful about commenting on someone's manner. We don't know if you are half as decent as your high horse is carrying you. Secondly check the date, shaking hand was not recommended even if you were bathed in sanitizer. Thirdly, stop passive aggressiveness towards people with money just because you haven't got enough of it.

I was pretty disappointed that Selby didn't offer to shake hands with Robertson after the match. It was a great give and take all the way through and I didn't see any reason that Mark should have been upset with Neil. Very surprised.
@ghuff312 жыл бұрын
He probably feels a bit disrespected. In a way, Robertson wasn't playing him; he was playing Trump, due to their wager over tonning. Neil was clearly going after the centuries, which bothered him.

its only because the match took place at the time the when the pandemic was at its peak and the players were discouraged maybe even disallowed to shake hands. mark selby is a true gentleman and an olympic. they played a few games head to head in 2021 and they've seemed to had no problems.

I don't know a lot about snooker, can anyone please explain to me at 40:26 why Robertson didn't just put white ball at a good position and hit the red ball to score when he had the white ball in hand?
@gashery2 жыл бұрын
In Snooker, ball-in-hand placement is not free. It is limited to within the half-circle. With that constraint in mind, he placed the cue ball where he found it to be optimal.
