Final Shape's Most Underused Ability

The weapons are completely personal preference although i recommend a rocket sidearm for easily breaking all of the crystals/frozen enemies. Its a pretty simple Fr0st-EE5 build. I've tried some other builds like Wormhusk and Star Eater which are both solid, but Fr0st-EE5 felt the best because they give your grenade practically 100% uptime. Even if your Coldsnap doesn't hit a single enemy, it will still make one small stasis crystal. Destroying the crystal and sprinting for about 15 seconds gives you your whole grenade back. If you break at least 2 crystals, you can consistently get your grenade back in 8-10 seconds. The one thing the build struggles with is healing (the built in Grim Harvest healing is nice, but not enough sometimes). I plan to fix this by using the new Echoes solar rocket sidearm with Heal Clip and Reverberation/Demo/Incandescent when that comes out.

Yeah no problem! I’m glad there’s finally a stasis season so other people will start messing around with it again. It’s definitely not as strong as prismatic, but it has its own unique strengths. It’s got a lot of underrated abilities since people just didnt even bother trying them out lmao.

Appreciate it! I want to make it clear, I wasn’t trying to say mactics build was bad or anything like that. His build is great and duskfield is still an easy to use, great option for the build. I was really just trying to let people know coldsnap is a real option now, not just a trash grenade.

I haven’t really played Destiny since I finished final shape but they were nuts then. I’m sure they’re even better now that we finally have a stasis season
