Happy New Year Jenny! This was fun to watch! I really appreciated your candid review at the end. I too was mostly good in 2023 and kept my purchases of vendor wax to a low but went a little crazy towards the end of November and December bc of the sales! Melted so much during the year but I bought so much in 2021 that I still have some going into 2024, boo!! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Emily! Happy New Year to you too! I'm glad you love the long empty videos. I enjoy empty videos the most too, and I like when they are long. Over the years I've tracked my purchases and had a wax inventory/log, but this was the first year I used it to actually count how much I'm brining in versus using. And, I have enough detail in it to calculate the ounces/pounds by vendor, if I wanted to. That's the accountant in me. Haha! Thanks for watching!

Hi Laura! I had a feeling I was not alone with that. My hope is to keep things a little better controlled this year. I find when I don't buy wax for a while (which is what I did for the first half of 2023), I then go a little overboard when I start buying again. Thanks for watching!

This was my first time trying Holiday from Teddy Bee's and I love it! I'm hoping with a little more cure time, it will last longer in my warmers. But it did throw well the first few hours. I bought strawberry vanilla birch at your suggestion...and it is so good! Strawberry with woodsy and/or tree notes just smell amazing!

I can just imagine how much you’ve spent on wax this year! 😂 My husband tallied up my wax purchases for the year and it was a little alarming, to say the least! 😂 That “Gingerbread Village” was a really good gingerbread! I’d definitely get more of that when she offers it again. I wasn’t a fan of the “Second on Spruce”, it took on a rancid smell after two hours. I dumped it. Thank you for sharing! Hi Deb! My cat does not like closed doors. If he's in the hall and I shut my bedroom door, he cries to be let in. If he's in my room with the door shut, he cries to be let out. He's a little stinker. LOL. I think he's made appearances in some past videos...but it's probably been a while. I don't even want to imagine what I've spent on wax this year! Haha. I think I added up my purchases once a couple years back....it is shocking! But if I'm not spending it on wax, I'll find something else to spend it on...heehee. Did you see that Second & Spruce is having a pop-up this Friday?! She is supposed to have some holiday scents to use up those oils. Happy new year to you too! My husband did say, after totalling up my wax purchases for the year, you can't take your money with you when you leave this world, so you might as well enjoy it! I fell asleep before the new year. My job gave me 4 days off which is awesome. My goal this year is to pay off all my credit card debt so I decided to put myself on a no recreational purchase ban. So no more wax and no more books. My over all goal is no more debt and to reduce my wax to 6 totes.

I took some time off for the holidays to rest up after a crazy year. That is a great goal to get credit card debt paid off and to reduce your wax collection! And yes second and spruce eggnog milk and cookies did smell a little different to my nose too… now that you mention coconut, I believe that is what I was smelling.

It smelled really good and super creamy, it just didn't smell like eggnog. I hope she does more of her buttered rum eggnog in the future. That one I loved!

I did melt Dessas take on the perfect Christmas and I did feel like it was kind of smoky and not really a close dupe. I haven’t tried the other two vendors version yet. I think I have an L3 dupe and I have the salt mountain one also but I haven’t melted them yet. I’ve melted the salt mountain one the last couple of years but honestly can’t remember if it’s more of an exact dupe or not.

Hi Dana! I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone! I really wished that Dessa's dupe was close, but it was definitely smokier. Although I still liked it, just not the same. I also think that Sassy Girl's is smokier as well. I don't believe I have L3's dupe. Let me know what you think when you melt it!
