Plays well, in my opinion a lot better than the original which was one of the early block/block/block/dump games. The rom in this is a lot better for a quick session for the memories as it's not eating constantly like the original, has great sounds as you will know.

Favourite machine back then was a barcrest machine, each way nudge. (With purple and green arrows up the side). I used to go into the arcade Saturday afternoon, wait for the cadet squaddies to spend all their brass, and make a tidy profit. Even on £5 machines lol.

I loved working in Mr b's in Blackpool learning off the locals and becoming friends with them ... 2 seasons I did ... @@GuruJus 1992 and 1993 ... loved it .. started on the bingo ... but the manager asked me to go on the arcade floor... cos of my size he said .. well built we will say 😂 😂 ... made some good friends and drinking buddies ... ant been back to blackpool since 2000 ... Mr b's had the best pay outs ... it had a lot of locals ... machines were looked after as well ... but I wasn't aloud to play them cos I worked there

People moan about c2c but I have never had a problem with it, very punctual and only about £13 return if you book 3 days or more in advance, cheaper than parking.

Prices have dropped off again on machines and only the ultra rare fetch top money now. Only headache with Maygay is reliability, that being said worth buying room or no room

What's in Taunton? The only Maygays I tend to see around outside of classic arcades are Donkey Kong, Great Escape and Italian Job. A crying shame because there are some absolutely cracking games but guess most are in the hands of collectors now.

That would be great mate, I used to play that in the chippy when a was about 14. It was 5p play £5 jackpot but we all loved the special feature in the middle reel

@@keithmabon695 ironically, I'd never played a £5 one, only £15s, and part of the trick was to avoid the middle features, and the gold run, and try and force £6 and £15 wins out of it. There aren't many of them about now, but if I ever get the chance to have a go at one on £15, I will do it, and video it.

I think on the £5 thing, I would definitely look at a £6/£8 tokens section myself going forward, better gameplay overall than £5

​@@JamesHardyFruitMachinesto each their own as they say, but as the stake is 10p limited 50x £5 is better long term than 80x £8 for the entertainment. The big difference for me is stake, put the same game on 20p and keep the jackpot the same it's generally better behaving and not only because it's half the spins to progress they just seem happier. I just play classics as buying entertainment and if I win it's an unexpected bonus 🙂
