That 1977 aluminum penny so odd. Is it really aluminum? I know they had that illegal to own 1974 prototype that someone had, And I think the US mint confiscated coin because I said I was never supposed to leave the mint. I know a lot of schools electroplate pennies for fun, but yours weighs in lighter than the copper one. I wonder if you’re sitting on one of those million dollar pennies. Let’s hope so👍

Like your penny looks nice. Wish I find me one. Had a question I found a 1977 d penny that weight it 2.9 and is real nice it haves a bunch of little stars and it haves like an eagle in the background. I like it is nice. Is that common to weigh that?

The Copper/Zinc variety weighs roughly 3.11 grams. Yours is a bit light... I would get it checked out!

It really depends on it's overall condition. Does it have Knicks, Dings or Scratches? Does it shine (have luster)? Typically many factors come into play. Research the internet to get a base price... Feel free to ask.
