I am thankful for people like you who share things on KZbin. Otherwise, I would be so ignorant on things like micro shading and microblading. Thanks for the lessons! You look fabulous! Hair, brows, skin, makeup- everything! Happy new year.

I’m so glad you shared your experience about both procedures. I go to a derm with a “high maintenance” client base. I have very oily skin and am at very high risk for skin cancer so I’m at the office at least every 6 months. The nurse practitioner has told me that the ladies who started microblading as soon as it was a thing, and kept it up, are now having quite a bit of scar tissue 6 or more years down the road. This is not something that I’ve seen or heard addressed before. Although I really wanted to do it, I never did because I knew it wouldn’t last on be and not be worth the money or the hassle associated with trying to make it last even 6 months. I’m pretty low maintenance and wouldn’t take the time to try to avoid the brow area with my Clarisonic and salicylic acids.

Your brows look great! I have my touch-up microshading appt tomorrow and also intend to keep up with the yearly touch ups.

Wow! Thank you for mentioning keeping vitamin c, retinal and aha/bha away....that wasn't obvious to me and I have been putting on my brows as usual. Will definitely watch that after my touch up tomorrow.

Your brows are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the Tarte brow powder in gray. Finally a powder with no red tones!

You look gorgeous! I'm planning on having this technique done as I had my brows tattooed about 9 years ago and need to have something done again. Very helpful.💜

Differently stay with that brow tech, excellent job, and that color matches you very well, that tip was on point!

I have slightly oily skin too and my microblading always fades quickly and it's so discouraging. I truly am ready to try microshading now. It has to be better. Fingers crossed.

My microshading is still holding up strong after almost 3 years!

@@MrKongsMom that's great! I can hope and pray for that success too! I really need to try it but I'm so nervous as the microblading failed me twice and the cost is nothing to sneeze at.

Your brows look great! I have no plans to get my brows done because I'm committed to an anti aging skincare routine and I don't think they would last on me. Happy new year Melanie!🎊🎉🎈

I did watch your micro shading videos. I too had micro shading done a few years ago and then redone when they faded. I love that I really don’t need to do anything to maintain their shape. However I do have a problem: Let me explain.I do actually have brows. In spots they have thinned or become a little scarcer. Right now the micro shading was done in very dark brown. I have wanted a grey color, not brown or black because the hair in my brows has changed from dark brown/black to white. I absolutely need a grey color to cover the hair and/or a micro shading color that is grey. Can you recommend a color for my technician to use? Thank you.
@MrKongsMom Жыл бұрын
I can't actually do that because mine was custom blended to match my hair. Your technician can actually do that for you. We probably mixed 3 or 4 colors together to get the exact gray to match mine. They all use different kinds of pigments and I am unsure of the brand mine uses. If your tattoo artist is really good at what they do, they should be able to match you exactly.

I was in so much pain during microshading today. She said she put numbing stuff on but I couldn’t take it. Will not be returning for a fill in!!!

So sorry to hear that. It’s no pain free. That’s for sure. Tolerance definitely varies.

Hi. How many days did it start to scabbing after your microshading ? :)
@MrKongsMom6 жыл бұрын
Within about 3 days mine started to scab.

@@MrKongsMom Until when did your shaded brows stop flaking and itching? Like you can say it's completely healed..
@MrKongsMom5 жыл бұрын
Desa Soy totally healed no scabs left at all, just after 2 weeks. But it was minimal after just a week.
