I'm still traumatized. It was the mid 1980's. I'm five years old, I have all the Voltron Lions and little people that go inside them. And the family moved, and the box with the toys got lost or something. Next thing I know, I'm playing with Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles. Never got over it. lol

But they were in the same space so I guess it was easier. Voltron was on some way different different anime type. So I never put two and two together. I should have been more attentive.

Licensing, World Events Productions holds the rights and licensing in the US to Voltron. They haven’t been very cooperative with the studios. There have been studios who have wanted to produce a live action movie, but WEP stands in the way !

Was just doing some browsing and found this gem. Back in the day, 1983 or 1984, I was in college and found this amazing new cartoon series. I grew up watching The Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner cartoons and was still an avid Looney Tunes fan. Then I found this, and then Thundercats, and then Silverhawks. Here I am, having just turned 59, and I'm watching a cartoon designed for kids. I'm perfectly okay with this. 🙂

Well, as you may or may not know Voltron was a water down version of Japanese am me Beast king go lion. And in case of this episode Sandy did damage to Voltron with stab marks on him. Also once Voltron removed the S from Sandy the shock of removing the Symbol was too much for Sandy killing him instantly.
