This show was so GREAT I told my friends I had to be home by 4 o'clock to watch Voltron. The Transformers followed at 4:30pm. (FYI it was Tom & Jerry at 3pm and 330pm, or PBS with The Electric Company and 3-2-1 Contact, 5pm Mr Rodgers Neighborhood).

On a side note, ever notice in these cartoons that everyone is disarmed except for the bad guys and Voltron? Ever notice how the civilians must rely upon Voltron and the ruler to protect them? Perhaps we're seeing back then hint of what we're experiencing now....

Anyone wanting to watch Battle of the Planets shouldn't watch that TV cartoon series that got remade. Watch the original that came out years later. 7 Zark 7 actually had a position on the bridge of the Phoenix. They took that out in the original series I watched. Only learned years later what they had done to that show for Australian audiences.
