Such a nice restoration! I wish I'd had the benefit of your expertise when I restored a 94 Van Diemen a few years ago. Bought it "race ready" and of course it needed stripping bare and rebuilt. I got it done, but it cost thousands, including a new engine (everything was illegal or worn out ), shocks, gearbox rebuild etc. I was laughing as you talked about hating the 96!!

the famous 'ready to race', its quite unfortunate really that many people have the same story but at the end of the day it is a used car and need to be treated as such. I bet yours turned out amazing! you obviously have good attention to detail to pick up all of those issues.
