According to the internet, the most reliable cars in the world are Honda's and Toyota's with MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS (or non-CVT automatics) and 4 cylinder engines. So, Civics and Accords and Corollas and Camrys. Of course, you have the Acura and Lexus upscale brands that are just as reliable but more expensive. I would say that the Hyundai and Kia brands have also increased their reliability phenomenally in the past 5 years and offer great warranties to boot. The other option you might think about it to lease a vehicle for 3 years and get whatever mileage restrictions you need, i.e. 10,000, 12,000 or 15,000 miles. The dealer is then responsible for all maintenance during that time period and when you are finished with the lease, you can return the car and or buy it (please negotiate) outright if you are super pleased with that particular car. Long term reliability of foreign cars is abysmal. i.e. after 80,000 plus miles. If you want a Merc, BMW, or Audi and don't mind eating 70% of the car's new value at resale time, then go down that road. One thing is for sure, I would not purchase any domestic car. If you do want to buy domestic, get a Ford truck with a naturally aspirated engine if possible.

If i was going to get a Mercedes, I would most likely buy one that is 1-2 years old and only keep it for 3 years. The good party about american performance cars is the aftermarket, they have really high quality parts and plenty of help with fixes because of online forums. Maybe a better bet would be a cheap manual honda or toyota for a DD then have a fun weekend car. how

@@GasKills ...It doesn't appear to me like you finished your thoughts at the end of your comment. (car. how?) Anyway, if you recall, I bought an $80,000 supercharged XFJaguar for $17,000, (granted, 10 years old but in pristine shape with only 36k on the odometer) and you should be on the lookout for a deal like that. I bought mine at the dealer, after strong negotiations, and for peace of mind rather than a private sale. The only maintenance you want to have to take care of is oil changes, tires, brakes, and gas. Normal wear items. So, make sure it is in good mechanical shape to start with. Buying two cars would increase your insurance premiums. To what extent, I don't know. It might be prohibitive on a cost front, but only you can make that call. But, I'm not opposed to your idea of a daily driver and a weekend runabout.

Yeah, that’s what I am getting out of my research. Can’t say I am happy about it.

I had a Mini F56 S. 0 Vibration. I traded it for a Lexus UX last week and guess what? This freaking Lexus vibrates! I can feel it all over my legs and steering. The faster I drive the more it vibrates. Is a f nightmare. The car now only has 300 miles and I dont even want to drive it. I have been back at the dealer 4 times already. Tomorrow they are replacing all tires to see if that fix the issue but honestly I do not think it will. Neither to say I regret trading my mini for this pos. I will probably get a lawyer and lemon law. A “lexury” car should not vibrate.

Your Lexus UX is not a luxury car haha. It's basically a Toyota CHR with a better interior. They both should vibrate the same because they're the same mechanically.

I have a 2019 accord sport 1.5t and is honestly a piece of crap. I've had more problems with this car than I've had ever had with any other car I've ever owned before . My girlfriend has a 2018 civic and we havent had any problems with it but the accord has just been horrible since about 2 months after I got it. My advice is to stay away from the newer hondas
