Most non-division clubs are. Hell even teams in league 2 and 1 are, they're a really similar to a mix of small town football team and NCAA small college; really fun and easy to enjoy because their main focus is just the purity of the sport instead of advertising

the Glazers aren't from Florida they're new yorkers, Malcolm who bought the club was a wonderful man who had big dreams for the club and then two years into proper majority ownership had a stroke and his kids took over. We are finally getting away from those awful children but I am very scared that we might end up an oil club, if we do I can no longer see myself supporting them as it goes against my principles

As I live about 2 hours train ride away I considered getting down to Wrexham yesterday just to be near the ground or at least in the town. I am kicking myself for not going, it looked amazing.

local match commentators are just like baseball and hockey live commentators, painters with words but also somehow thinking at the same time AND being able to immediately tell you what they are seeing. Used to be(up until about the late 80's) the announcers would just get ticker tape live feeds so you'd be about 15 seconds or so behind)

I'd go as far to say get promotion within 2 seasons, if they don't sit on their hands(which I doubt they will) and shore up their bench they could easily be fighting for promotion to the championship in 3 years time; quality and consistency are there

Im from the States and I have watched Wrexham all season long. Even I am sick of hearing the "H" word. English football is like no other. The emotion behind it, how the community rallies around their club, the bond everyone has, it honestly cant be matched anywhere else. I dont want to take away from the new owners but you cant just throw money at it and win. Clubs all around the world have tried and failed at that. You need more than just money to win. Wrexham has heart, passion, determination, and they have the support of everyone who lives there. That right there is a great recipe for success. Cheers to all of you and hopefully one day I'll join ya for a pint.

Apart from not having a chubby little Scot on the left wing to cross the ball to, this match reminded me of the early days of Cloughie at Forest with Shilton in-between the sticks having been the 1st £500k keeper. The quality of the 5th tier demands 2 automatic promotion spots especially after the supreme match with the other team who should be celebrating promotion --------- Notts County. Sorry Notts, my heart was with Wrexham, even though I used to go to the county ground if I couldn't make Forest's away game
