The guy said no damage to pinchweld, BUT WHY he cut out the molding with A pipe Knife It creates damage to pinchweld, defeats the purpose of the tool(Always Pull molding Off). Also does the Anchor creat some sort of damage to DashBoard will cutting extremely hard urethane.?

Do yourself a favor. Buy a dewalt DCE151B wire stripper tool. Remove the head and install a cheap chuck. This drill gives far better control as its top speed wide open is 150 rpm compared to 450 on a regular xr. Love mine,

Redundant step re-pulling line back into car. Leave the cord inside the car, pull about 24 inches off spool and fold cord over insert tool end. Once pushed through to outside of car, fasten one end to tool and pull the other side of cord outside of car with enough slack to go around the glass entirely. Once around, cut cord from spool and affix to anchor or simply leave cord on spool and affix to anchor Time and effort saved. This video seems more like a how to rather than showcasing the actual tool.

Question. Have you ever seen the anchor block damage the dash in any way? I am considering the purchase of one of these but am worried about brittle dashes.

Hey Joshua, thanks so much for the question. In the 3 years that we've been manufacturing the FinalCut, we've never had a customer issue with an anchor block damaging the dash. It is built from a soft rubber designed to grip and will not break brittle dashes.

@@gtglass would the final be capable of saving a windshield?

Tony Hernandez yes, definitely! That’s one of the major benefits of our cord & wire tools

Thank you for this good work but why this tool expensive ???
@gtglass5 жыл бұрын
Sinan Jabbar this tool costs roughly as much as you would get paid to do one quarter glass removal. For an auto glass technician, this is a super reasonable price point. For an everyday person trying to remove their quarter glass, it probably doesn’t make sense

Why not just use a cold knife and save an hour! You should change the name of the tool to the POS
