@@abyssaloverseer6268 yeah. Xenophanes is a shapeshifting alien light who fell to Earth and proceeded to make friends with a girl named Alice who is his accomplice. His main form is his hedgehog form, but he also has a human form named Xen. He is part of a band with Alice for some reason. He collects and tortures human souls because he himself doesn’t have one and he’s jealous. He has a pet hedgehog named 0ystein for some reason. His favorite foods are chili burgers and fried chicken. He doesn’t kill people so I don’t know where he’s getting souls from. And he is canonically pansexual. He isn’t really scary if you know that about him, but I guess my opinion of him would change if I myself was being tortured by him.

From what i got of the whole reason its different a different take on sonic.exe a reboot or remake of some sort though if you want to know another remake version of sonic.exe look at 2011 exe wich has a remake of the og fangame (IT HAS A PLATFORMING LEVEL 😱) which has more details better quality and better death animations
