i really think a lot of the cohesion about the this version is because you flipped individual sections of the song as opposed to just playing the entire thing backwards. that way you still get the build in complexity and tension that the original song had, but get to keep it feeling fresh. the quality of the notes is also preserved because you play them forwards as opposed to backwards, even though the note order is reversed. it's particularly interesting how some sections of the original song follow the pattern of playing a section, and then ending with tension, which leads back into the next section appearing to have a resolve. whereas here because the sections are reversed, it goes tension to resolve. which still feels like 2 sides fighting against each other, but it almost seems like you are fighting an uphill battle as opposed to the other way around.

Imma extend this story bc its epic as hell Dialogue is said as you are about to kill asgore. Before you swipe the knife, flowey appears in front of his dad. Then the dialogue (which is very epic btw) writen by the owner of the comment im replying to is said. As the fight progresses, the souls throw various attacks at you and defend flowey. You kill them off one by one until they all perish. Flowey, asgore and you are the only ones here. Flowey is super tired from the fight, and you take that chance to kill him. Flowey perishes. “P...please...”flowey says as he is disintegrating. “D...dont kill... my family...” he dissolves. Then, you advance towards asgore and kill him. You are a murderer. You have killed every last monster.

When Flowey is the last hope for the timeline after you commited genocide: Flowey realizes that with the 6 human souls, he can just barely topple your determination, but not enough for a reset, flowey, with the encouragement of the human souls, turns into a slightly less powerful version of the Asriel from the true ending, he knows the consequences of you completing your little run, you would keep going, corrupting his best friend over and over again, corrupting his sibling. Asriel, even though he has less souls, he will be much more powerful, as he gains the traits of every soul as well, he uses KR against you due to the soul of Justice, he can protect himself and heal himself with kindness, he can use all soul and attack types, he can also use the attacks that the souls use in the photoshop fight, as the souls are not rebelling with him, but using them to help slay the human. Asriel also stops you from being able to go back at all, and the Asriel fight will stop you from using items, I like to think it is a mix between Asriel and Photoshop flowey attacks for the Genocide Asriel fight.

I’m imagining this would play with a fight with Flowey. Where the story is the player kept on resetting and doing a no mercy route and then resetting again and again and again to the point where Flowey tries to stop you by using the human souls to become Omega Flowey but this time he is even more powerful then he was in the pacific route because this time the human souls *_agree_* with Flowey. During the fight its like the Omega Flowey fight but the soul attacks are harder and instead of the mercy button showing up the fight button shows up and you break all the human souls. The very end of the fight after breaking every last soul Flowey turns to normal but as one finale cry for help Flowey calls for help… and the fight ends with the screen going black and the message “but nobody came” in red showing up before you hear the attack slice sound. (Sorry for any misspellings its hard to type on a phone :/)
