I think the music and story of lobotomy corporation is something you'd like, it's music is somewhat similar to the kinda stuff you like making and its story of unending cycles of suffering guilt and tragedy is also something I think you'd like considering your love for Omori. I don't know the whole story about your AU, obviously I looked at the site, and figured that the main point is that Sunny never truly forgave himself, and although most of his delusions are gone, the guilt is slowly crushing him. I've listened to this a few times, and really looked at the art. The story I'm getting from it, is that No, Sunny will never be able to forgive himself, but he will pay back his sin by honoring Mari and his friends with his music. He is haunted, but he will not succumb. Very uplifting.

The last bit of this song truly reminds me of dearly beloved from kingdom hearts, which for those who haven’t played it, Dearly Beloved plays almost always when it comes to discussing friends always being within each others hearts even if they are far apart. I think given your AU and even just the base game in general, that little touch is so comforting yet bittersweet. Sunny will never move on from what happened but he’ll always keep Mari’s memory alive if not for himself but for the friends who endured losing her too. He will carry her love like a weight for the rest of his life even if it means all his dreams (headspace) have been crushed.. I love this game and specifically this song so much.
