As soon as we heard the song for the first time in Deltävling 2, we knew: WOW! That's it! The winning song 2024! Even after Deltävling 3, 4 and 5 we knew: no, nothing changes, Liamoo is the best! Liamoo and “Dragon” are clear winners. And then? Then came the final and in the end “only” 5th place? That was too much of a good thing, really. We were so disappointed and almost angry. Of course we also like Marcus & Martinus, allready since last year and their song “Air”. But here it's very clear that Liamoo was simply better with his song. Whatever went into the background voting results, Liamoo deserved to win! We know Liamoo allready since 2018. But the last few times his songs weren't that strong for victory. But “Dragon” trumped everything. Whatever: For us, Liamoo remains the “real” winner in 2024 and he will remain in our hearts forever and of course on our playlists forever!

Even though Liamoo's this year entry is one of my top three favorites, I think, in my humble opinion, Loreen had set higher criteria for Melodifestivalen. Loreen and this year winner, M&M, 's staging look much more like watching an MV. While Liamoo's breathtaking live was halfway in between.
