fun fact: this was performed on 10 February, which was also the Chinese Lunar New Year's Day, symbolized as the "Dragon Year". so befitting with the song title and the moment it qualified directly to the final. "Dragon" qualified on the start of the "Dragon" year.

This is my winner because this whole performance is magic. The fire, the dragon in the background, the artist doing fireballs, the perfectly fitting moves to the song, epic sound, actually cool message about finding the own inner dragon to master life with self-confidence. Liamoo is very likable, too. The song really suits him. Perfect from A to Z. But as Marcus & Martinus are so high up in the betting odds... they will get the ticket. Although I don't like their song as much as the Dragon... in the year of the dragon!

This is still my favorite song (along with Maria Sur, who sadly doesn't have running order luck). But anyways, after watching M&M's staging & camerawork, I am nervous for Liamoo. Don't get me wrong, his staging isn't bad, and I don't know if he even has time to tweak it, but at the very least he needs better / more dynamic camera work. We need side shots, closeups, angles, not these super wide zooming shots where you can see the audience and breaks you out of the immersive performance experience. You can do a zooming or traveling shot, but start closer so it doesn't take you out of the fiery experience. He should play with lighting more, have maybe more shots were he is silhouetted against the fire, instead of all these well lit wide shots all the time. Anyways, wishing him best of luck! Really enjoying this song especially in the Year of the Dragon 🐉and it would be iconic if this was selected!~
