It’s a dream of mine to 2J swap my F30 with the 8HP and all factory comforts. I’ve been watching this series with great interest, even though I barely have any clue what’s going on. Even though I wouldn’t be shooting for 1000hp, this series has taught me that it’ll probably stay a dream. I’m out of my depth in like 10 different ways

So I’ve been seeing lately in the drag racing world people are relocating the alternator to the rear. I’m sure it’s because engine bay room becomes nonexistent and probably getting weight moved around for distribution purposes. Now I’ve seen in Adam’s case that throwing belts has been an issue with his 2J. Could/would you guys benefit from doing the same? Could simplify a lot of things? Mor room in the engine bay, could make alternator changes in a 5 minute pit go quicker, centrally located power hub and shorter power line run to the battery. I don’t have the ability to have a car and a shop to try such things but figured I’d ask if it’s worth it.
