Aliex, that motor is a beast. I love that wake it puts out. Looks faster, than the Suzuki 2.5. And I've been seeing that motor on sailboats now, to get in and out of a Harbor. That's why there's longer shafts, and the power it has is Epic.😎 🛶 🌊

Hopefully the prices of the setup come down over time. Just bought a new 2.5 hp Suzuki for $650. At 2k, just being quiet isn’t enough of an advantage to justify the cost.

Ok so the motor is 1000 (with 10% off 😉) and the Newport Battery is 850, so 2K more, but if you buy the 60ah Amped battery for 379 plus 5% off man you might have something, is it still easier to maneuver with a pedal drive though👍
