Dude that sounds sick. Your vibrato is on point. For 200 dollars you shouldn’t expect a 5k les Paul . It looks and sounds pretty good. I’m personally not a Les Paul fan , but if I were I would get that.

Very nice! Those stock pickups have some great harmonic overtones to them and the squeals just fly off. Really cool for the low price.

Another really good review of still another affordable but apparently pretty good guitar. The only problem I can possibly imagine on any of these reviews by folks such as yourself is that, since you are all serious professionals, the concern for many of us ordinary, regular players is that people like you can probably make almost any guitar sound pretty darn good! I just got one of these and aside from a few flaws in the finish. One a perfect fingerprint. Going to run it thru IAFIS! LOL Aside from the action on mine being low it is set up very well it's actually intonated as well. Tuners look cheap but really feel and work well. The worse, my pick ups are crazy microphonic. OK on the cleans but a little gain and distortion my neighbors are probably thinking I am butchering pigs in my apartment on the side! This was gifted to me so I have no real complaints. I am sure I have a set of pick ups in the parts box I can swap out quick.

I Bought one! I Can't believe how good this guitar is. It is so easy to play. And it has a bounce to it. It's a Chucker. I bought it to beat up and abuse and I think it's gonna be my number one guitar. And that's right out of the box. still haven't taken the plastic off the pickups. lo

If you ever change the pickups, go for some black/cream "Zebra" colored pickups. They'll make the guitar look better. Of course, that's just my opinion. Based on my experience when I had a gold top LP with the Zebra pickups. 🙂

What i find mind-boggling is in 1984, i wanted an electric guitar. I found a generic les paul style guitar in the 1984 sears christmas catalog and it was $250. Thats $750 today. A real les paul was around $600. I was 11. My dad said, how much? And its not even the real thing? I never got it. I got $50 worth of Transformers and a fake Michael Jackson beat it jacket for $25. The guitar had no case and the generic amp in the catalog was another 200 bucks. Fast forward to 2023, im 50. I got a fake les paul for $150 on amazon with a coupon, normally, 189 bucks. I git a gig bag for 29 bucks and an Orange Crush 25 watt amp with reverb for another $150. Another Amazon coupon for 50 bucks off after i bought the guitar. All free shipping. I got what i wanted 40 years ago for less than the stuff in the sears catalog then. This is definatelty the golden age of cheap guitars! A real les paul at guitar center is $3000 by the way today.

I don't have the guitar anymore, but from memory the neck was not overly chunky but also not super slim. Very comfortable. Not sure on the weight. Felt like my other LP guitars so not super light.

Purchased a LyxPro strat copy. Worst thing i've ever played in my life. How were the frets when you got this LP copy?.

I've only tried their LP, but those strats look pretty cheap. The frets were ok as far as being level and good size, but they did need to be cleaned up a bit with steel wool.

Hey man Great video! I have the Gold Top too. I love it. Got to do a bit a fret work. but, that's what I bought it for. I want make a monster guitar. I was surprised though because I have other Les Pauls and they do not feel as comfortable. It's gotta be the neck profile. I can't figure out what the profile is. I have e-mailed Lyx.
