First off ... that eye-look is gorgeous! OK this unit is beautiful, but I gotta say ... $88-$90 is too much for a synthetic wig especially since Sensationnel has the kinks and coils line (Boss Lady and Rain Maker come to mind)and they are a fifth of the cost ($15-$17) and if you know how to take care of synthetic units then the cheaper units can last as long as the human hair units. I just threw away my Outré Rex unit last month and I bought her almost 3 years ago and wore her and took care of her and revitalized her faithfully.

Thank for sharing Michelle H and Mary.... Yes I agree $88-$90 is a bit steep for Synthetic, however I think Boss Lady maybe an ok option vs Rain Maker as an alternative.... But I’m with Mary it is awesome looking and neither of those compare to the Natural look of this wig. They’re good for a Natural blow out look! You have done it once again Mary! Did I miss the Anniversary wig/video? 🤔

Hey mjbaybgurl I shampoo and condition my wigs and I let them drip dry or air dry ... I don't use towels or blow dryer. A lot of times I will spray on or finger through a bit of oil / oil sheen. I never sleep in my units; I usually finger comb them but if I comb / brush (my straight units) I will only comb them once or twice a day, I very seldom put any heat on them. If they get a little frazzled at the ends then I will trim the frizz off. Full disclosure, I think I just got really lucky with Rex because I wore her everyday religiously for some months then I got the idea to try to turn her into a U-part wig and I rocked her like that for several more months (until the elasticity of the cap finally gave out on me LOL) Then I grabbed Outré Natural Yaki ... same process

I hear you Theresa Forte and I do agree that certain factors make the Fingercomber and Friday Night Hair wigs more attractive to consumers. Like that fibers withstand heat better and the cap construction and elasticity and longevity are better. But those are non factors for me ... but hey, sister-girl if you got the coin then I'm gonna be the first to stand and applaud you 😎🤗

Advantage of the holes Pt 2: You can scratch your scalp... I was scratching my scalp and the wig wouldn't be shifting, and I could actually reach my scalp and give it a good scratch. No patting or digging. I came across Fingercomber in 2013. I started off with havana hair and would take them out, wash, and reuse the hair. I always wanted the angled bob unit, but decided to go with the Kinky Kurl Out because it was long and luscious. I had the Fingercomber Kinky Kurl Out for the LOOOOOOOONGEST time. I wore it every single day 2016. I refreshed it many times over the years, turned it into a kinky blow out unit, and finally threw it out the beginning of this year. That thing was a trooper.

@@blalala5837 True. There was nothing but bad reviews when I was looking them up, but I decided to take a leap of faith. In hindsight, def didn't need the havana hair. Marley hair would've been perfectly fine, and cheaper. But for the wig, I just left them a note that I wanted my wig to be very full, and to just let me know if they needed to charge me extra. My wig was VERY full indeed. Even after YEARS of styling and pulling out hairs, and having to sew a track back on, it held up very well. I boiled that thing and blow dried it so much. I made sure I got every single penny worth and then some. It never hurts to just reach out to them and shoot them a message.

I'm a 4c and have bought 5 units from fingercomber. I can wear them without leave out but when I do, braiding/flat twising my leave out allowed me to blend my hair perfectly (no heat needed). I bought the Havana Fro, Havana Blowout, Honeycomber, Sof Kinx (years ago when these were $88) and I just purchased the Sof Kinx HD. My only issue is the wigs apparently are being made much smaller than they were (according to other buyers and my experience with the Sof Kinx HD) I have naturally thick hair so I'm glad I held onto my original wigs!

I bought this wig 4 years ago as my very first wig and it passed as my own, left some hair out in the front and it was great. Thought about buying it years afterwards and realized the weird short straight pieces at the top. They say it is to hide the track, but it was more of an annoyance to me. The holes make this unit breathable, but sometimes it looks a little thin and concerning about if tracks are showing or not. The price is what stopped me from buying a second time. Not for a synthetic. If they were heavily discounted, I would try it again. Sidenote: I’ve tried two others versions from them and my feelings are still the same

I rock the regular soft kinks faithfully. I only wear them for 2 months and get a new one most times. It’s the same as getting my hair done so I don’t I don’t care. Fingercomber also has a salon service. You have to wash and detangle the wig and they’ll reset it for you for about $40.

That’s cute. I always do a chunky twist out with my wig that I have like this and to blend my leave out I do a flat twist out with the leave out and some of the wig mixed together. It is seriously flawless, people think it’s my hair too. Bonus is to dye the unit a 1b color so it really matches your natural hair if you’re like me and your hair tends to be darker than these units.

Okay, I'm late but I just got this wig. I haven't "wore it yet" but my unit looked identical to MsNaturally Mary. Funny thing is I was so excited about this unit that I put it on upside down 🤦🏾‍♀️, and the unit appeared spacey. Once I flip it... baby... I seen multiple styles I will be rocking lol. Mary girl! I went ahead and purchased this unit after your awesome review, and I'm sad to say that after A MONTH my unit arrived and it is extremely thin :-( - it's as if they used 1 bundle of hair to make the entire wig. SO DISSAPOINTED :(

MsMary, while the Fingercomber units are beautiful I find them to be too spacious and not enough hair to cover the scalp. Your own hair peeks though because the units are so thin. I have to wonder if sent you a unit that’s more dense being that your an influencer. I have 2 of their units that I’ve never been able to wear. I also bought a HerGivenHair because if you and was very disappointed ☹️

I've had that issue with some of their units. I don't know why they haven't fixed it yet because otherwise their units would be perfect. I was still able to wear mine (have one on in my profile pic).

I ordered this wig after watching this review. I was hesitant because it is a bit pricey for a synthetic wig, but I decided to try it anyway. I have not even received the wig yet and I’m already disappointed. I used the promo code for expedited shipping and learned after making the payment that it will take almost a month to receive the unit. I did a google search for reviews on the company at that point and saw some really bad reviews. I hope this ends up better than I am expecting 😩🤦🏾‍♀️ I wish I would have done my normal due diligence and read other reviews as well BEFORE purchasing.

I have bought 2 wigs from them and they did not look anything like the pics. I have never worn them for that reason and you can't send them back. But it seems like the KZbin folks doing the video get the exact expected wig! Why is that? Geez I wasted money and all I want is to get the same exact wig that is on your head! 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Just got mine yesterday. It did not look anything close to the pics. It was very fast shipping. That’s a plus. But yeah, barely any curls and the shape was so wrong. A lot of straight hair came in mine. Not coiled at the ends all over. Great effort, but I’m wondering if it’s a quality control issue. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have really thick curly/coily hair and my hair doesn’t grow past my shoulder. No matter how I treat it no amount of care will grow it past my shoulders unless I put heat to it and I don’t use heat anymore
