Remember you can make quite a lot money if you get a successful ghost busting channel. People will subcribe, like it and comment on it. They will then put ads on it which again will earn them a few extra quid. It would be a waste of time if you did an honest paranormal channel where you don't use any gadgets. It's impossible to always get paranormal activity.

Yup, one is not just debunking the 'paranormal' - (which means an event or happening which cannot be explained through or by 'normal' experience). People get really mad if they feel you are debunking the paranormal because you are potentially debunking one of their closest belief systems or ways of understanding the world around them (including the possibility of that which lies outside normal explanation). We know this historically because war.

HOWEVER, there are those who pull at people’s heartstrings and purse strings and due to the loss of a loved one the “victims” of these scammers are taken on a long journey of ups and downs and eventually disappointments. There were 2 guys from Salford who use to have a ghost busting channels on KZbin and i said they were faking it and he replied "Yes and we're making loads of money" Not sure if they are on KZbin anymore not see anything from them for a long time. If i had a KZbin ghost hunting channel, I'd fake everything, because the more fakery the more subcribers you'll get and views and likes. I'd have cat balls everywhere. I'd stick emf meters all over the place. I would use all the apps and all my videos would have titles like... "WE WERE TOLD TO GO" and "I WAS ATTACKED BY A DEMON" This would pull in all the gullible people which will boost my bank balance. Thank you 😁

I believe that other realities interact with ours. I believe that the viels or portals that are the root of paranormal activities are fascinating. When these fakers make content claiming to be real they disrespect real experiencers and make them feel that they will not be believed if they disclose what happened. It's okay to entertain folk but paranormal filmmakers should be up front. Established science of quantum fields tells us that reality is not what it seems, so it's important for us to be open minded. Anything is possible but fake is fake and this encourages folk to be small minded, which closes them off from new ideas or new realities.

I have no issue for such content being made for entertainment, but when they pass it off as real, and it clearly is not, then I want none of that. it is why I am drawn to channels such as Nukes Top 5, as Nuke makes no attempt to say it is real, they review others content, and make a few comments and leave the decision to the viewer. I see only two valid reasons to fake it, 1- a reenactment, and 2- for entertainment.

Normally faking stuff is fine. To me, faking the paranormal is not fine because it involves peoples' worldviews and there are for sure people whose lives will be affected by thinking the paranormal is real. To some people, it's life (or it's scary enough to disrupt their life). If it was something like those dudes that faked being able to pull open doors with a measuring tape, that's just goofy fun. I think people should feel really bad about lying about the paranormal.

Scenario #1: Just suppose that there was video evidence of a real paranormal event which has clearly been proven legitimate. A video which highlights a darker aspect of the paranormal and the trauma brought into the lives of those involved which ultimately ends in either a solid resolution or one which leads to utter destruction. The impact of lives will have to shown in order for understanding on how a real paranormal event can affect people's lives. Scenario #2: People who continually support the fake videos because they are simply too small minded to believe anything else because this is all they are able to learn about the "paranormal". This is all they find when searching because 99.99% of the videos have to be faked or there would be no content at all to even watch. This is extremely dangerous because it helps absolutely no one who is really experiencing anything and are looking for information to get help. Churches more often than not will not involve themselves with these claims and in most cases, praying doesn't do anything to help the real victims of dark paranormal phenomenon. I know cause I went through over a year of terror by something dark, sinister and intelligent. I sought help from many churches and priests and prayers did nothing but anger the entity further. Admitting that videos are fake would do nothing. The egg has already been cracked and scrambled. There's no putting it back in the shell.

People like Lee from Really Haunted, i cant accept him, simply because of the way he pulls the wool over the eyes of his supporters. You only have to read his comments section, to see how many people are convinved that Lee and his Family are going through hell with paranormal activity in his house. People who are in the paranormal for the most part can see that this amount of activity, doesnt happen in realiy, but others are convinced that this is reality as far as the paranormal world is concerned. Alot of them are convinced that this false reality is real and it annoys me that Lee from Really Haunted gets sympaphy from his supporters and Lee has no problem letting them think that paranormal activity is effecting their life in a negitive way. Those who are serous about the paranormal are angry because these people are just trampling on our work and the real paranormal. We want the scientific community to be involved in the possability of the paranormal, but these fakers make this really difficult as the show the paranormal in the wrong light, for clicks and views.

Anyone that knows these platforms knows that shooting a video , and Not putting it out for a week or two ( especially when it comes to most but NOT ALL paranormal content providers ) is not only for time purposes , because their trying to take a two plus hour video and compacting it down to a 20/30 minute video , but for editing , and editing TRICKS , and sometimes they miss a thing or two , and like myself as I said I'll call them out on it , but as I said what does that actually do except help build up their algorithms?? Because even negative comments about their channels is better then No comments.... I think the only thing I've ever seen a content provider do after I pointed out something was one time James from the Fam channel took their video down for and hour to edit out Omar gosh's feet that I point out where shown moving something that was supposed to be "Paranormal "..... Then as I said an hour later the video was right back up , but that part of the video Omar's feet were MAGICALLY GONE..... So again what's the point ?? Honestly, I can debunk on my own. They're pretty easy to spot. I really only watch KZbin for entertainment. I've already experienced the truth of the paranormal, as most ghost hunters have. To take it further on KZbin(of course for money, don't be ridiculous) pretty much tells you it's to entertain the viewers (so, yes, for money) and to show their passion for creation. I'm not keen on people that try to take it away with torches & pitchforks 😂 But, debunkers gotta make money too, though. 🤷‍♀️ Basically, debunkers, fakers, and real paranormal are all the same -to ME. Hi Dan, I'm fine if the fakers are making fake videos for the fun of it and to showcase their special effects/editing skills. In fact, it could be a fun symbiotic relationship - they push the fake videos and the debunkers try to spot the fakery. But definitely a big no no to milking viewers for their sympathy & money. Btw, maybe you can start a channel showing bits of your daily activities e.g. hiking, gardening, waffling away etc; i got the perfect name for the channel: "OnlyDan" 🤭

If they're taking advantage of people, I wouldn't be able to accept them as a friend. Unless they came completely clean - 100% all round - and turned away from cons of all kinds. People deserve 2nd chances most of the time in my book. But they'd have to Take it seriously. I think we have two scenarios, in my opinion: 1) Let's say the Ouija Brothers would suddenly come out and say: "OK, we have to admit... we never experienced anything at all, all which you ever saw and heard on our channel was staged by us, we are sorry." I think this would be the end of their channel. They are respected as one of the few genuine teams in whom one can trust, and if one of these would admit to being fake, it would do huge damage to the community and I don't think this would be easily forgiven. I can only say that I would immediately unsubscribe and never watch any of their stuff again. 2) Let's say Jasko would suddenly come out and say: " "OK, I have to admit... I never experienced anything at all, all which you ever saw and heard on my channel was staged by be, I am sorry." Everybody with a sane mind could see how fake Jasko was, and I think most would be willing to give him a chance to redeem himself, but it would strongly depend on how different his new content would be; he would be under extreme scrunity for a good while, but if he really was sorry and adjusted his content... not only talking the talk but doing the walk, I think he would deserve this second chance. It would lose him subs of people who felt betrayed by him, but I'd say more than the half would stay. Same would be if he didn't chance his content but put a big disclaimer into his videos declaring that his stuff is not real but only entertainment. Some would leave, some would stay. Real con artists like Huff or Really Haunted are beyond redemption... they scammed money from people claiming paranormal bollocks and could sleep while doing so, they are in my opinion types of chararcters who leech off others and don't care if his victims go down or not. It would not help them admitting to the fakery at all, the damage done would be too big; they might face legal charges, too, so I think it not very likely one of these bad scammers would really admit their fakery in clear words. Some fishy explanation like Lee did, yes, but no true confession.

What Ive said is that people didnt hang their hats on the "real paranormal" term, I wouldnt have an issue. They dont even have to admit they are faking. Just more dont go around advertising as "real". My example is Ghost Adventures. Obviously fake as all buggery. But I never saw them going around advertising themselves as "real". Ofcourse the point is to seem real, Im not trying to say they arent trying to come across as real. But so did the Blair Witch, if you catch my drift. Im probably different to others who want to watch this stuff. I understand its all fake to some sort of extent. There is no good evidence for ghosts. I do not feel it is OK to get people to falsely get people out of sympathy to give you money, but in the case of L&B, unless she murdered someone I support (as a parent also) that protecting your children is a parent's #1 priority. Yes, if the paranormal groups who lied put up for entertainment purposes I would be fine with them, and yes if they made it interesting I just might subscribe and watch them regularly. After all for the most part YT is for entertainment, alongside other types of views like educational, explainer, kids ent, etc. So if done right you can be for entertainment purposes only and still be successful. I like to look at this from the perspective of "if a criminal just put all that ingenuity and trickery into something that it can be transformed into for success this country would be inundated with many successful entrepreneurs and possibly billionaires.

One who came out actually thanking the debunkers for pointing out the people who she collabed with faked the paranormal behind her back, and she distanced herself, and want nothing to do with them. It was Patty of The G Team, and it was The Shape's debunking one of her videos opened her eyes that someone she was with was faking, and so she actually called him out for that. That was why her name was being drugged through the mud, and two former friends of the other person that was doing the nasty smear campaign spilled the beans setting Patty up to take the fall. She admitted that some people she was associated in the past faked, and she took those videos down. The G stands for her son's name who killed himself, and people faking in those videos would have tarnished his name. Now, I was on the opposite end with her in 2021, but all the truth comes out was that she was the victim to Jody Dean. Glad the truth did came out.

Those who fake to purposely deceive people out of money should be binned. But those who fake for entertainment I feel like (If they admitted it and started to put up disclaimers), that they would be accepted and forgiven. Maybe not by everyone because everyone has different morals and different ways of dealing with what could be viewed as betrayal. So that depends, but overall I feel like those channels who don't scam people would be accepted if they apologized. It all depends on how aggregious they were. The ones that have denied it to the point they start taking ahots back at the debunkers and the ones that have blatantly played on peoples emotions that need proper help. Its one thing going to vacant buildings to 'ghost hunt' but when its family homes and the likes is a tough one to forgive.

While I believe it can be comforting to think you can still communicate with passed loved ones. Doing something completely unproven is not the right way to tackle it. Charging money or making a video for financial gain is disgusting. Applying simple logic too, what makes a ghost? Unfinished business? There's bound to be trillions at this point. You could apply that to anything. I mean think how many wars and battles there's been. It all seems very unlikely at this point.

I think the bigger the channel, the higher the pressure to maintain the lie. 1)You've employed people for your channel. They depend on you financially. 2) Other channels and creators have defended your reputation at risk of their own. 3) Your reputation IS your career when your an online celebrity So to admitting to faking after so many years of calling the other side toxic. It could sink them overnight. Or it should do.

Oh how wonderful, you now you have 20K subscribers, congratulations Dan, you deserve it! And I hate liars, trixsters and fakers, no matter the subject, there are so many channels on KZbin who do nothing but lie, I am so tired of them all, not just the paranormal channels either, but ones that just pretend obvious to logical people stories of the past or urban legends and others are real, and worse mixing those stories with well know true stories, but treating the lies the same as the true stories, it's one of the many things making people stupider, especially here in my country, USA!
