The Hiss can be removed in post with Audacity for making traditional videos, but for livestreams obviously XLR is the way to go.

@@ghost-user559​​⁠yes I said this in the video ;D also XLR mics can produce hiss. This one just has increased hiss via USB instead of XLR. All mics have a floor noise.

@@TristanPope Very true. I use the K658 and it’s an incredible Mic for the value. it’s basically an SM7B clone with rgb. I had a great back and forth in a comment section with one of their reps after I got it. I’m glad they listened to feedback and added the XLR capabilities to all mics going forward, they really are a solid company and they really do listen to feedback.
