There was so much about the Cait/Vi scene to love…. How Cait was going to be honest and tell her she was with someone else….and Vi giving ZERO fucks because she has her cupcake back. Then Cait is the one who rips her shirt off in front of Vi very aggressively, but then is soft and gentle undoing Vi’s wrapping…and is then CONTINUALLY gentle with her. Gently caressing her, touching her softly where she hit her with her rifle as if to say “I’m sorry….I will NEVER hurt you again!”, giggling with her in pure joy because she is FINALLY with who she truly WANTS to be with. And Vi…alternating between being very aggressive with Cait, and then being very gentle with her. Showing Cait that it has basically been her….ALWAYS. Just such a perfect love story for these two. People said that they actually did it in season 1 at some point, but this scene right here is almost irrefutable proof that THIS is their first time. The gentle touches, the way that they look at each others bodies, the happy giggle when fumbling to get undressed....just all so PERFECT!!!! It wasn't about sex...it was about love, trust, letting go, giving in, and intimacy...all the things they NEEDED in that moment with each other, knowing what was about to come. So happy I got my Violyn back.

The ending sequence is one of my favorite sequences in the entire show. Watching Viktor reach his highest form, all those people levitate and transform to the tune of "The Line" by Twenty One Pilots (one of my favorite songs in the s2 OST btw) was just ethereal. Beautiful and terrifying scene.

A detail I like in the jail scene is that Cait doesn't just open the door and walk away like in season 1. She actually goes inside the cell with Vi this time Vi is blaming herself for all the people she's lost, saying it's all her fault and probably feeling like she deserves to be in prison all alone, to be punished for her mistakes. But Cait in just one action and a couple words says "no, you're not alone. We released Jinx together, and whether it goes well or it goes poorly, the blame is on both of us, not just you. Take some of that weight from your shoulders and let me help you carry it"

I literally screamed and was in shock when I saw this ep, jaw was on the floor🤣 but can we talk about my favorite character Caitlyn for a second and how well they wrote her character. I know this whole season she’s been bent on getting jinx which honestly I never blamed her for, her feelings were valid to feel imo but she always still carried what I love most about her which was compassion which we saw heavily in s1 and now also in s2 throughout her character change and development. We saw glimpses of it when she told Ambessa that “arrest require cause, why is peace always the justification for violence,” again when she was reunited with Vi and Vi told her about Vander/Warwick being her dad. Then this ep, She knew Vi was going to go try and bust jinx out and let her have that by sending all the guards away. When jinx was in the cell, she personally kept trying to feed her, they also took away her hair ties and shoelaces and anything she could’ve used to harm herself bc they knew she was going more and more off the deep end and I bet Caitlyn ordered that. She also didn’t do anything to jinx until she could talk to Vi when she woke. In a way, Caitlyn somewhat forgave jinx through her actions for Vi and realized that the hunter she’s been this season, isn’t really her. Also Happy new year to you guys tooo!!🎉

I originally included a slowed down clip of this in the edit, but while the grave marking looks like Isha's hat, you'll notice that Noxians are given a rock to top each gravestone, some of which can be round in shape. You can see this at the beginning of the episode where they finish burying Rictus and they place a rounded stone atop his grave. As much as I wanted to believe they would've given Isha this honor, the grave ppl think has Isha's hat is a rounded rock upon closer inspection

@@hungryrabbiddawg got to be honest, i've just rewatched the clip and to me it's a helmet - it's the only one with a rim and the cairn is a lot smaller than the others even though it's in the foreground. i'm pretty certain it's Isha's grave and i think the Noxians *would* have buried her with honours. on the right hand side of the "helmet" there is definitely a hint of something that could be the goggles and their shadow.

i've never left comments on reactions before because i guess ppl take what they're seeing in a scene in their own way and it's okay. but i really enjoyed your reactions and comments and even when you miss out on something during your watch you get back with more inquiries and such, it's very nice experience tbh! thank you! what i wanted to say is, i don't really think viktor loses himself fully before the very end of the episode (and why "the line"s lyrics are the way that they are) and that's what makes it so heartbreaking? like him coming in and asking for civility and then him sitting in the void defeated because he cannot convince anyone to see his side of things (doesn't mean he's right in his ways but you know, he expresses raw emotions when he is being fought and dismissed). i just want to point out that he has no autonomy after jayce's "kill" since Singed and Ambessa take control over his and Vander's body, they do the blood transfusion regardless of what he wants himself, he will evolve his followers if it means he can somehow move forward with this. maybe i'm overthinking this because i definitely look into his character more/pay it more attention lol but yeah, that's the thoughts

I get the feeling many people miss that the bright/happy world from episode 7 isn't just a result of the absence of Hextec. Heimerdinger said he came there nearly 3 years earlier and said he "was able to do a lot of great things". In the end of season 1 Heimerdinger's eyes were opened to the suffering of the Undercity and he spend some time with the Firelights. My guess he immediately started to make changes considering he's was still the head of Piltover's council in that universe.

I think the people that feel s2 was rushed was in very specific moments that include but are not limited to: 1. Viktor waking up after the explosion and mixing with the hextek and 10s hes like "yeah im gone bye" 2. Vi being all "I hate enforcers" but through a 3s convo with maddie she changes her mind. 3. Vi going from all angry and ready to kill jinx to following her to a cave to look for "vander" ( i dont agree at all with this one, i think Vi wouldn't have killed her cause she still loves her sister, and the idea of vander being alive will make her cooperate easily) 4. Caitlyn goes from hateful vengeful dictator to completely loyal and loving Vi from first sight when they met in Zaun. 5. The black rose thing for non league lore watchers was random and quick. 6. Some extra scenes in the finale related to Ambessa and others that I wont spoil... While I do agree the "arcs" were quick (in the show at least cause there were some time skips to justify ppl changing their mind), I dont think it made the show worse because i can still understand the arc they went through without seeing all of it in detail, just reading between the lines. And I dont think this really justifies making another season but if they had a bit more episodes than 9 we would've gotten to see some more heartbreaking development and madness arcs from cait that sell the story more
