Hey... Great to see you two back in KL. I hope you x forget to check out Brickfields at night in the next few days. Malaysia will be celebrating the Deepavali festival of lights this 30th October. There will be bazaars in Little India areas, you can get your Pani Puri's, your masala chai's, lots and lots of biscuits, snacks, sweets, clothings and even temporary tattoo called Henna. You should go check it out. And I am very sure you could attend an Indian family's open house during deepavali. NOW THAT WILL BE AN EXPERIENCE I will promise you Will never forget !

Chris is right, I am a native New Yorker and there are a lot of Venezuelan migrants targeting tourists for robberies in Times Square primarily, but also in Central Park. Also, lots of random shootings over the last few years, so not as safe as it has been prior to Covid. You never have to worry about that stuff in Southeast Asia.

From now till end January 2025, there will be different decorations in shopping malls and vibes, for now it's Indian festival called Deepavali (Festival of the lights)on the 31st Oct, then Christmas deco thereafter Chinese New Year end January 2025. Vibes are different for the next few months. Hari Raya for Malay people is expected to be around end March 2025 so end February 2025 they will start to "fast" for 1 month so if you guys are still around, try not to eat in front of Malay Malaysians, just a matter of respect.

Wasalam, I would suggest don't rent a car if you're in KL. Sometimes they have horrible traffic jams and it can be hard to find parking. Use apps like grab or indrive and take public transportation. It's more efficient
