Hello, nice footage. What jacket do you use? Does it help in the cold days now?

Hey, cheers and many thx! :D As my only wetsuit was a 4/3 and the colder days reallly suck with it I decided to wear a thin monoshorty underneath with a silver-steamed layer and a hoodie. That was quite okayish for around 12-15 degrees, but when you have around 10 degrees it could be warmer. The jacket I bought for warming when coming out of the water, which is really nice as a wind stopper and warms you really good. It was the first time I decided to wear it while foiling and must say that it doesnt warm that well. You are heavier when soaked with water and it takes longer to dry. so, no, I would say that it doesnt help that much as I expected. Maybe a bit. Therefor I saved some bugs and I bought a 6/5/4 oNeill Epic with hoodie. First test will be on the weekend with around 12 degrees and 25+ knts wind and occassional rain. Lets see.
@@PeterGogolin Thank you for your quick and comprehensive reply. I already need a 5/4 between 10 and 15 degrees, so I thought the option of putting a jacket on top was interesting, but I realised from your explanation that it's not ideal. I have a 6/4 for the coldest days, but unfortunately it lets in a lot of water and therefore doesn't help me much.

@@pete3036 welcome. maybe its an option for you to use an underlayer, a monoshorty. What I really like about my ONeill Epic 6/5/4 is the sealing lip cloth around the neck, the entry into the suit is always like an exercise, but to have only a very small entry point at the neck makes a very small chance of water entry.
