Cool video Peter, that must have taken you a while to make but great to watch you progress. I look forward to riding with you one day 😊

@@knowlsey204 thank you 🤗 much appreciated. After Denmark we had a lot of things that hindered me to go out and foil. Family business, own health issues asf. But in the end it was a good year. I mean none has done more hours than you on the water 😁

I had a lot of time after Denmark. And I found it a good idea to summarise my progress. Its a pity I had not all footage anymore and was forced to use my own rendered videos... anyway

Yep, awesome vid with great editing! The only change I'd make is the opening evolution graphic - culminating in winDsurfing, but apart from that... great work! (If/when you come to UK, be sure to come by Portland👍🍺)

Why did you quit windsurfing?
@PeterGogolin9 сағат бұрын
yes, this is a quite good question. I was so into it when starting with 12yo. I was greedy to go whenever I could, and with the driving license the opportunities became bigger. At some point we were like only two people going together and in between sometimes ten or more. When starting my studies for programming at college all these freindships became problematic. Wifes, houses, work, children, new towns the whole spectrum of coming of age hit our community hard. These were the days before internet and social media to come together easily. I think this was one of the main point why I quit. Sold my last two boards and five sails for a short of money to some guy, and thought: "this is it. I am done with it"... Being alone wind surfing didnt satisfy me and Kiting came up what I really found stupid... So, skipped many years, went into photography and playing guitar in a metal band... and now I am back :D Twenty years later and high on Wingfoiling!

Cut your leg through your wetsuit?
@PeterGogolin4 күн бұрын
jupp, it cut through the fabrics of my 5mm neoprene. Had to fix it with glue.
