Thanks for a different perspective of how life in Japan can be.
Mt. Fuji! I remember when I was living in Japan, I could see Mt. Fuji from My apartment in Matsudo (Chiba). I would Say "Konnichiwa" to it every morning.

We are Japanese family living in Yokohama, with 5 kids including twin daughters. Your video reminds me of long ago, we also went to a lot of places like you. Now our kids are all grown up and doing own things. Enjoy you life in Japan. Probably KODOMONO-KUNI is recommendable if you haven’t been yet.
Ever had that moment at camp where it's late at night, everyone is fast asleep, and you have to use the washroom. So you try to creep out of the tent quietly, only to accidentally kick or step on someone, waking them up. And soon EVERYONE is awake and they ALL have to go to the washroom!

Yamanakako is cool and I used to come every year at an American football camp when I was a student. Practice in the morning and every day of the game in the afternoon was not fun. The athlete who had to get fat was crying and eating rice. Lake Yamanaka is a fun place...

おたんじょうびおめでとう、Sarah-chan! I enjoyed your video about camping in Japan. Seeing your family having a lot of fun and different experiences in Japan makes me very happy! I am Japanese mom living in the Midwest, and my family and I just went camping nearby state park for 4th of July. I think Japanese campgrounds are tighter than ones in the U.S. (of course). I am also sending my kids to American public schools, but I think Japanese public schools are better (at least elementary level). My kids get a lot of candies from schools for incentives and rewards which never happens in Japan. We teach healthy eating habits and how to take care of ourselves and surroundings in Japanese schools. I don't know if international schools in Japan do that too. Anyway, stay healthy and have fun in Japan. Here in the States, Covid-19 is out of control!!

Wow- thanks for commenting - I'm from the midwest (Chicago area)! At times I miss it :). I'm sure you also miss Japan at times. How long will you live in America? Thanks for watching!

@@LIJ Thanks for your reply. I live in Rockford area. We will probably live in the U.S. until my husband retires or gets laid off. Then we may move out of the U.S. after retirement. I think my kids miss Japan more than I do. When it happens, I take them to Mitsuwa!

It's very sad that you couldn't view Mt.Fuji clearly and it rained on day 2. Please visit again to Lake Yamanaka especially in hot summer. Lake Yamanaka is located by several hundred meters higher than Tokyo. So you feel cooler there than living near Tokyo.
Hi everyone, sorry for the late the late comment. Wishing Sarah a wonderful Birthday and may all her dreams come true. Sadly it was my fathers Birthday yesterday who passed away 3 months ago. But i hope everyone had a wonderful celebration of fun and laughter, and a wonderful camping trip kind regards Carl

Japanese parks look like such a blast! Curious, do most people who camp in japan use tents, are there such things as RV’s or trailers?
@LIJ4 жыл бұрын
People do use RVs here, although they are much smaller than compared to other countries (like the U.S.). One of my dreams is to take an RV trip around Japan and the States at some point!

You can enter a place called an auto campsite by car, and it is usually located next to it.
The number of coronavirus infections per day in the United States has reached about 70,000, so the state of California, where the number of infected people is increasing rapidly, has resumed lockdown again on July 13, 2020. 😔
