Thanks for the thorough review. It makes sense to me that the "shrill" sound from the Creative is optimized for use while ear-plugged/underwater. However, none of the other bone-phones I've tried (including the shrill ones) were better sounding while using ear-plugs.. Could you let me know your opinion..? IMO the best overall sound from a bone-phone is from the G7 I found on E-bay, but without MP3, it's no good for swimming.

Need your expertise here. I am currently using QKZ X HBB as my daily driver and want to upgrade to same bass/warm and smooth IEM. For that I have only QKZ X HBB KHAN in my mind which is well inside my budget. So, will KHAN be a good upgrade over QKZ X HBB or not? As KHAN is power hungry, for DAC, I'm planning for VE Avani due to my budget constraint. So, does Avani complements KHAN or not?

Thanks for the question - I'd say the Khan is a worthy successor to the older HBB. Should be pretty easy to drive as well.
