@@Djshaw1kinglegend i heard you say some guys open up their amps volume fully and they will run into clipping problems and other stuff..if you open up the amps the you cut back on the input..opening up the amps gives you the full wattage..just like if the amp is to much watts for the speaker you turn down the volume..
@Djshaw1kinglegend2 жыл бұрын
@@tyronepowell6599 knobs on amplifiers are actually for setting gain there not intended for more volume setting thats what the mixer is for and it has gain knobs as well. Most mid class amplifiers such as qsc & inuke, etc there more than likely to clip when gain knobs are fully open. Amplifiers such as crown macro tech and powersoft they can handle being fully open more without clipping out and shutting down. Running most amplifiers fully open will 9 times out of ten cause issues proper gain structure needs to be set to avoid thermal shutdown, clipping and speaker damage due to excessive distortion. There's some useful information but the really useful information such as: true outpower, current draw at 1/8 power, current draw at clipping, slew rate, amperage requirements, and alike will let the viewer know the real story with this amp.

Do you think it could be because you are playing from the 15 amp/120 and not the 30 amp/220 why signal lights or showing at half way? I plan to use 30 amp/220 with this amp and see how it handles @ 2 ohm. Anyway it plays the tops real clean just an orchestra!! We have the iNukse12000s playing tops and looking to use these CVR for Bass. Can’t wait to finish this project. Thanks again fam. Your sound is playing real good trust me.

@30:10 Good video.......but I have ran high output amplifiers on scoops and void double 18" for 8years, with knobs turned fully up. I have no problems or issues from this and never had clipping. Setting limiters and knowing how to, is very vital and why people like me use the full potential of our equipment with no clip[ping.

I understand totally. I can fully open the crown macro tech 3600vz as well so i know what you mean. When using this cvr and similar budget friendly or entry pro level amplifiers such as there clipping activates way earlier so you have to set the gains accordingly, hopefully that helps. I just picked up one of these except it’s the new version. Once powered up it makes a constant rhythmic buzzing noise. It’s not crazy loud and not a problem but I’m not sure if it’s normal or not. I’m curious if it was the same thing with your amp?
@Djshaw1kinglegend2 жыл бұрын
Hey, good buy👍🏾. Yes mine does alittle buzz when first powered up for a second but not while idling. All those capacitors its like a old tv ppwering up especially if you don't use it for afew weeks. Otherwise its good. Just make sure your outlet is grounded and getting enough voltage/amperage. Thanks for watching.
@danielwander6052 жыл бұрын
@@Djshaw1kinglegend it’s not the power buzz when the capacitors are charging. It’s after that and it doesn’t stop. Bzz…bzz…bzz. It’s a pretty much a buzz per second. But if you don’t have it then it’s probably a defect.

Thanks for this review love these amps hear them play clean and the bass line is great . How do you compare it to the Qscmx3000 T hats what I use to play bass on my system now . My friend tell me to get the 2002 or 3002 model. My bass line will improve more , is that so . What's the idea with the different colours .

Hey thanks for watching i appreciate it, glad to hear your interested in the cvr there really good amplifiers lots of power you won't be disappointed switching just make sure your speakers are up for the challenge compared to the qsc which is also a great amplifier really reliable and holds value so don't get rid of it if you do get the cvr. The Cvr3002 is the older model the new model is Cvr3302 alittle more power but same price range. Oh the blue models where the first models there all black now unless you request a different color. @@Djshaw1kinglegend Thanks for the information. In regards to the Speaker issue I believe I need to improve on them . Can't use the 3000 on those speakers. So I have to get some 2500watt 18sound speakers of which I am sourcing. The Crv will do me good so reducing rack space. I only need two for now .

It's a damn good thing it doesn't have 1/4" inputs. If you accidentally plugged or unplugged a 1/4" connection while this amp is on, the thump would very likely kill your speakers. Surprised you tested it on mids rather than subs.
