Thanks. I learned a lot on this one. Now I know why vintage radio dial cords are designed the way the are. I also learned that CNC expertise comes only with practice so I should use it more.

Thanks for sharing John! Lots of learnings in this project. When we had a hard time holding down a piece of metal. We would also use side dogs with the regular hold down clamps. It helped to keep the item from moving sideways.

Thanks Barry, it's more or less what I ended up doing. Finding out the hard way seems to be my inadvertent strategy 🙂
