FINALLY DYNO TUNING My Mercedes CLK500 at RaceIQ Performance!

Im rebuilding my m113 . For my Ml500 I want to tune it on dyno rather then remotely flash the ECU . just to spruce it up & help get the most gains because I did some hand port detailing on the cylinder heads by removing the ridge in the bowl next to the valve seat

You could do that but it will cost more tho! You might pick up a few more hp or Tq depending on your motor.The remote flash tune has been perfected over lots of dyno runs to get the best out of the engine.

Have you had an issues since tuning your clk? Also what mileage did you do it at and how many miles is on it now?

I haven’t the car is much more happier on the setup with the tune than stock. I can’t remember what’s on the dash properly around 150k I’m now at 165k

@HeyboysGarage oh dang 150k! I got a clk 500 2006 back in January. Only thing I have done is remove the mid muffler and put a smaller rear muffler on. It has only 110k miles, seeing the progree you done with yours definitely makes me more comfortable to tune mine.

I would go with the 55amg for my preference! Just a more reliable engine for the year. For the 550 depends which year! If it’s above a 2009 or 2010 then the 550, they are quicker

How do I get the tcu tune I have a clk55 amg

Ecu tune you would have to take your car in to your tuner and they will flash a tune on it. If your tuner is out of state/out of the country they will send you the tune file and give you steps on how to flash the tune on your ECU. If thats not the case you would have to ship your ECU to the tuner. It all depends on which company you go with. I believe most companies now would send you a file for you to do it yourself with guides on how to.

​@@HeyboysGarage Go ahead with those springs, I put the Eibach lowering springs on mine, and what a difference. Have to admit, this is my first car with sports suspension, but wow. I chose Eibach for both the mercedes comfort and track middle path. I think you will love the more aggressive H&R. I paired mine with B4 Bilstein shocks all around. You might want to get the front struts compressed by a shop for safety, but otherwise it's an easy bolt-on. you can get those struts compressed at home but it's kind of a tooth clincher

6100rpm max power, never seen that before. Even on my 365whp 210 E55. Also about 20mins ago, my 2002 SL500 with a custom intake, no tune, no 2nd cats. made 275whp and 317lb ft

TCU tunes on a .6 are garbage, just buy a 150% valve body, much better mod!

Why is that?? that’s day that intake on the sl55 kept the engine temps lower than on my CLK
