No one is straight or gay, these are all labels we choose and sometimes society pins on us to classify us and divide us. We are all human beings. A person who engages in heterosexual activities all their life can later carry out a homosexual act and a person who carries out gay acts can later decide do heterosexual acts. I’d never forget once speaking to a guy who proudly declared he was gay but never kissed or even had homosexual intercourse, I found it funny because these labels have to do with sexuality, and there is no genetic or “evil” spiritual force moving us to act out any kind of sexual orientation. But I’m sorry that you had to experience all the sad things you mentioned. Remember you are human and not a label.

Thank you! Labels are really tricky! They can definitely get in the way of feeling human, like you say. Sometimes they help us, too. Just depends on what you need at the time. Thanks so much for your thoughts!
