Same with Maryland. You get the car inspected when you buy it then we have to get emissions every few years and that's it. Love that but we have to keep front tags on at all times unlike a lot of states and they can and will pull you over for a crack in your windshield above 4-5 inches because they say it is in your line of sight but honestly the last thing you're looking at going 130 mph is the crack in your windshield lol.

California cops shp are strict 😂 back in my trucking day’s delivered lots of oversized loads for a company I contracted for in North Carolina 🤦‍♂️ made damn good money my puckered you’re every time I crossed in so much BS to deal with there and don’t plan on ever going back their was bad good money though $23k a load ford 38k lb big air units for Tesla factory. But I’m retired now after being in an accident in Virginia so now living my best life doing whatever I want. But Florida has always been laid back for me they had it strapped correctly kinda over kill if you ask me need a strap every 4 foot legally and they had load rated of a 300 lbs load and strap rating of over 12.000 lbs plus edge protection and being their isn’t a body wasn’t over gross weight of the plate so 🤟🏼 I wouldn’t have used a 1500rwhp car to do it but hey 😂 it worked but yes sir California sucks a$$ 💯 I feel sorry for you living there sir it’s never been a better time to move and leave that state where you actually have freedom 😂 sorry if I offend you I love firearms and deleted/built diesels and straight piped race cars lol and California doesn’t like me because of that.i was forced to leave the state of California last year because I deleted my w900 had to go spend $12k to have a shop install a dpf/def system to deliver to load and then I removed it and put the tune back in after I left California and came home and refused to go back there sense

i live in Manitoba and we are a very big family and back in the 70 when you could still buy real station wagons, my brother and older sisters had them and would transport the family snowmobiles in them on a regular basis and they did fit and there was always enough bodies to lift them in and out of the back of each one and when we show people pictures of this they just shake their heads, so the jet ski on the roof is just cool, in 2000 i built and moved into a new house and had to pick up a culvert my for my driveway and so i strapped it to the roof of my Volvo 240 2 DR and just strapped it down and drove home and my old german neighbour across the road saw this and was dumb founded and removed the straps it rolled off the roof onto the ground and he laughed so did i 😂

As a veteran of many sketchy loads in my life, I have one tip. If you would have crossed two of the straps, (ie: the middle one to the rear, and the rear to the middle), you can prevent/slow down forward or aft movement. With no straps crossed, an emergency stop may send the load right over the hood, onto the payment. Do NOT ask how I know this... LOL
