It is the strangest way I have ever heard the word "drawer" pronounced. On early videos it was very confusing until I figured out what she was saying. She basically just drops the "er" at the end for some reason.

It also helps when you have near genius brains like Tamar does. It can take months for me to come up with a viable solution. Which when coupled with a high degree of frustration turns into an “ah that’s good enough” look.😎

Since you didn't cover the bottom of the cabinets (under the drawers) you have access to more storage for hiding things like treats and gifts! I saw a really cool upper cabinet over on DIY Montreal Marie made that I think you would appreciate. Thanks for the lesson

Tamar, today many homes built in the past 15 yrs have smaller garages. Mine has 24” on either side between the wall and overhead door side. So your design shows me I could build mine perhaps at a 16” depth and have room to tuck my cars in during snow events. Your videos are always interesting and to those of who are creative you simply spark other solutions. Thx

Since all the drawers are the same size, I would've installed the slide on the drawers next to it, then just moved them over to the wall cabinet and then redid that set of drawers. And adding a 3D printer to your maker arsenal is a great next step! I got one last year and it is a game changer. And making your own designs to fit your needs is the best part!

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you and let you know how much I respect you for not editing out your mistakes. Seeing you work through things like cutting a cabinet door the wrong way-something I've done so many times-really resonates with me. I never thought to fix it with a Domino like you did, but I’ll definitely try that next time. I make mistakes all the time, and it can really hurt mentally. Sometimes they’re not a big deal, but other times they are, especially when it means losing material. Knowing that someone like you has made the exact same mistakes is so reassuring. The next time I mess up-which will probably be tomorrow-it’ll help ease the sting a bit. So anyway, thank you.

@3x3CustomTamar thanks so much for sharing your shop furniture projects. With you being a "fun size" woman like me, I struggle to find the right measurements to work for me. My math sucks so having to downsize standard size projects is frustrating. I love how it turned out. I have a few suggestions for you since you are so good at sharing! The left corner you said is going to get shelves...make a folding step against the wall! That way you don't have to find a step ladder and it doesn't take up space. The frame portion of the drawer you had to cut off...turn it into a slide out or flip up under the next cabinet you make for when you need more temporary space. The next kick plate you make...put it on drawer slides to make a step to reach higher or another drawer. I look forward to more videos. Can't believe it's already been 2 years!

Tamar, I'm so glad your friends convinced you to create this video. I am in the process of gathering ideas and inspiration for my workbench. You also show us what went wrong and why, which is good to know for when I tackle this project myself. Because of that I want to say a heartfelt thank you so much! Watching this made my day.

Cabinet making is interesting to beginners like me who dont know how to do it. I like how you make the toe boards - seems easier than how others do it.

Good job on the cabinet. I recently purchased a Qidi, Q1 pro 3D printer that has a cabinet. Some tips for your 3D printer. Dust on the heat bed of 3D printers, prevents the filament from adhering to it, thereby preventing it from printing properly, so it's a good idea to make something to put on top of the build plate when it's not in use. I have a very dusty apartment so I cut the shrink rap packaging the filament spool came in on two sides, then taped it too the top of my printer so it covers it like a hood. If you decide to do something like that, you will want to make a cover big enough to cover the AMS. Should you have issues with print bed adhesion, there are a couple things you can do. Typically, this will happen with small parts. 1) Clean the print bed with Isopropyl alcohol. 2) Enable brim in the slicer. 3) Use a glue stick to add blue to the print bed. 4) Place a wide strip of blue painters tape on the print bed.

That was very enjoyable to watch, a well executed project and the end result is amazing. Love that 3D printer too, I might have to look at getting one myself.

You’ve upped your game! I’ve been away for a while and this is an impressive project to tackle. Also your style has changed - no longer bombing in from stage left! Excellent work.

I'm glad you chose to make this video I'm new at woodworking at my old age. I was afraid of starting a cabinet build for my shop now you have a way that helps understand better than other makers have shown and now I feel more comfortable about trying it. Thank you and keep up the beautiful work you do.

So glad I found your channel. I don't do any kind of building, but I love watching others do it. I find it all so fascinating. Videos like this have caused me to really look at how things are built.

I made a bank of similar cabinets years ago with small and larger drawers. Over the years, I wished that I had made the shallower drawers even more so and get more of them to fit into the same space. You're right about most of the drawers woodworkers use needing to be shallow and I'll probably remake the bank with a lot more drawers only about an inch deep. A 3D printer is great to have for making things like you've done. Not only jigs, but I've taken and printed scaled down prototypes to make sure that proportions look right. You definitely can't beat the price. Thanks for bringing us along on your journey. - Chris

Wow! I really loved this video! It wad informative, educational and innovative. I like to the idea of the 3D printer!👌🏼 Thanks for the many ideas which you gave me! I would like to know more about the 3D printer. Are all the measurements are imperial? I use the metric system. Again, thanks for the lovely video show casing your talent! I admire your positive attitude "anything can be fixed!". That enabled you to move on pass any errors along the way! I'm glad I saw this video!
