Finally Got a Perfect 3D Print Aztec/Mayan Death Whistle

Printed one at 100% infill and it is twice as loud as a 25%

@@ChadGretz But the shape stays the same, and even with lower thickness air pressure will not be able to change it's shape.

I got my science teacher to print off some smaller ones and noticed when your looking at the face the lower jaw on the right side is about 2 layers higher then the left side so idk if that was a print error (there were a manageable amount of errors on this print) or you forgot the sculpt that part. Other than that it’s pretty solid for it being barely smaller then my index finger’s middle bone

For those interested there is a Eagle, Jaguar, Over 100 whistle of different animals, the Aztec Death Whistle is a War tool,they would line up 100 men with death whistle, so when they invade or attack they would all whistle at the same time. Imagine that minding your business and you hear that coming towards you, man I'd crap my pants

I don't understand why you're saying you need more infill. I print them with 5% infill for Halloween gifts and they all sound great

@@SmittysWorld Interesting. I'm using a Voxelab Aries printer. Bit of a different style but shouldn't make a difference. I wonder if it's a temp to layer issue.

@@adamsaquatics3332 not sure I’ve got three of the same ones that have been giving me a lot I mean a lot of issues with material sticking to beds no matter what I do. Been that way since out of the box. So could be issue with the printers themselves

I apologise for my angry knee-jerk comment so I deleted it. The Adam savage video of the ones he made for the new Ghostbusters pissed me off. Even the 'original' Aztec death whistle video is kind of weak.(its amplified...not Aztec era battle ready nor would it be audible over real the screaming of someone being flayed alive) First I thought it was weak lungs then I saw the leafblower one...still not like the screaming of a torture sacrifice. Something is off with these. Technique? Anyhow man again my apologies ...try Chinese pigeon whistles that they tie to the tails of pigeons. They are actually creepy sounding. NOT whistles to call pigeons but tiny ones tied to their tails.

What about supports? I can only print them touching build plate. Otherwise I have no chance of getting them out.

It really depends on what printer you are using. Most printers can do these without any supports inside .
