All lakes should have public launches like we have at ingalls harbor. You could put in 6 boats a time, and plenty of parking. Plus theres an ic machine right there and multiple hotels. Decatur did right there

No, to be honest I talked to 3 reliable guys in practice who all said it was tough for them up there and that persuaded me to not try. Hamner made it work up there

I’m new to fishing What line do you use for your dropshots?

I use braid line to fluorocarbon line “leader”. A basic drop shot setup would be 10lb Seaguar Smackdown to 8lb Seaguar Invisx… and I tie an FG knot to connect the lines but a uni to uni knot is an easier knot to start with. You can use straight fluorocarbon only (without braid) but you’ll end up getting a lot of line twist.
