Finally Got The Corn In The Ground

The ground is finally dry enough to plant some corn for the deer. Using my Minneapolis Molines makes it fun. Thanks to Nate from ‪@BruceFarmsInc.‬ for letting me use his John Deere planter.

I Love this Video. I’ve never actually seen planter in operation. I was fascinated. We only ran Hay Balers with our Molines as a kid. We weren’t Farmers, more like Ranchers with livestock and Horses. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Some folks may not find it interesting, but I sure did! 🚜🌽

It could be neat if you did a "plow day" with your Molines kinda like how you do with your Memorial Day procession. I had a nice conversation with the gentleman that acquired your U diesel. You both are great guys. This 🍺 is for you.

The young men are learning hands on that is a good thing .yes the world changes every day . Dan when they get older some day they will say .DAD thank you for rasing us up and teaching us things . somethings you may not use now but some time in there life they will say to someone that needs help.They will stand up and say I CAN DO THAT. Nice video. That corn will likely bring the deer in. If you planted sweet corn, I guarantee deer would be there. I haven't planted sweet corn in a while, but when I did, the deer would pass up field corn right beside it to get to the sweet corn. No matter what I did, they always found it. They still eat plenty of my field corn and soybeans. Any thoughts of planting anything else for the deer besides corn?

Another great video Dan, your 2 sons are gonna have a good work ethic, all credit to you. You have a real nice place there in Michigan, a real nice place to bring up a family. Hey that's a brilliant idea if you could help your father in law with making hay and film it for the channel, it's always great to see your MM's working. Where did that G1000 come from ? I am in Howell Mi and that tractor looks really familiar with the rice and canes on the back . If that’s the tractor I think it is it will do about 35mph in 5th amplif-torq on the high side almost got my ass kicked hauling 2 hay wagons together the last wagon was whipping back and forth after it left the farm I think it went to guy named Ian Campbell and then spent some time on a silo blower if I remember right .

This is a G900 that I bought in Indiana. I put the rice n canes on.
