MSC is great if you want a pool/beach cruise with some port stops. And yes, I could sail for ~14 days on MSC for the same price as my last 3 day Disney cruise.

Hey, Michael love all of your videos. My wife and I are big Disney world fans, my first time was back in December 1971. My wife and I we are DVC members. BUT when it comes to cruising you will never see us on a Disney cruise ship. There are so many cruise ship to Choose from and all of them are unique if we don't like the food I just get something else. You should try Princess cruise ship. Michael keep up the good work 👏 as always great video. Hopefully we get to run into you in Disney world again.

MSC Seashore was a great ship and food was amazing. Crew was very friendly and glad we decided to try MSC again because when not on MSC Meraviglia the food was terrible and unfriendly crew. So glad we gave MSC another chance and the pricing is unbelievable too.

I've sailed MSC 3 times/ twice in Europe and once from the States. The brand definitely needs to step up the entertainment, food and (in Europe) the customer service. I know for a fact that even with the MSC newer ships, this Brand needs to step up it's product. Thanks Mike for your honest opinion and review.

My husband and I just came across your video and we loved it. We really enjoyed all of your tours around the ship and ocean Kay. We are going back on Divina October 9th for 12 days, it will be are 3rd time on her. I agree the food is just ok but love the ship.

I’m really happy you tried this cruise line and vlogged it. I’m going on Norwegian in October and Royal in December out of NY. I was checking out the MSC site and noticed they go out of NY as well. The price was really good so we might try it out in 2023. Thanks for the great videos.

I'm actually suprised at how nice your cruise was. I had kind of low expectations to be honest. I've seen alot of negative comments about MSC. It looks like for the price it's a great value, and I would do it. Definitely

Definitely do it and ignore the nay sayers, some people always find something to complain about. I have been hearing negative comments come from across all of the lines. Try them all is my motto!

It’s gotta beat microwave Trader Joe’s food day after day in my studio apartment. Can’t be that bad. They have to be able to make one thing right, hard to mess up a salad or breakfast and pasta. I’ve heard the bread and broccoli is so good and those are two of my staples.

Great vlog! Sorry you had a bad experience with one of the shows. The audio snippet I heard was going down the "inappropriate road", I could tell. The tour of the ship was fantastic..

Totally agree and wow just wow! To say a member of the staff, representing not only the cruise but the corporation of MSC, disparaging divorce and individuals is disgusting and has no place in public or private settings. Even if the rest of the cruise was a trip to "go out of your way for". This single comment set the stage so-to-speak for the entire experience. What perhaps is MSC staff saying about individuals outside of a public setting? This comment may be taken down as it is outside the feel-good vibes Michael Kay posts and that will be fine, I guess. I hope MSC corporate watches the video and investigates these statements by their staff. Thank you, Michael for sharing the audio on the bashing of Disney and your follow up comments regarding the previous show. You helped make our decision to never patronize MSC regardless of the low-fare.

@@GussyFlight Agreed. Comments *that* nasty - and dishonest/misleading/envious remarks reveal the character, ethics and class of the speaker and employer. If blatant bigotry, outright *lying*, and disrespect are "acceptable" behaviour for MSC staff... why would we want them in charge of OUR safety, our belongings, our food, or our holiday? My husband and I both remarked that arrogance from MSC staff over the history of other lines is the height of hypocrisy - after all, what is MSC and abbreviation of.

That was a great series. I felt like I was on the cruise. I cannot wait to get on and try some of these things out for myself. I love the fact that they do no impose the 100% surcharge just because you travel solo. There are a lot of us that have to travel alone for one reason or another. Other cruise lines need to pay attention. MSC is going to shoot up in the standings in the next few years and they have definitely put their hand out to grab clients. Thanks Mike!

You mentioned MSC is possibly bringing out more ships than any other cruise line right now. Do you know if they will start to base any of their ship in Australia/NZ in the future? MSC is one of the few lines that has not yet done so. Rumour already around that Disney will enter the Aussie market in the near future.

I've solo traveled on international tours in the past and have really enjoyed it. I've never cruised, but would like to try one sometime and would do it solo if my sister couldn't come along. I think with this cruise company the lower pricing is a draw for people. I'm looking forward to your upcoming cruises and reviews. Have you ever thought about a river cruise. It's something I've thought I'd enjoy, being able to see countryside and experiencing ports of call that way. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Even if it’s bad service just being on a cruise in that atmosphere is appealing to me so I would definitely go on MSC for a more reasonable price. With that being said, I think the service is still great on MSC but not as great as let’s say Norwegian or Disney

We are a family that loves activities on the ship so MSC seems to be a hard pass for us. Between the lack of entertainment and subpar food, we will stick with spending extra for quality.

Wow.... 21+ meals on the cruise and you can only recommend one?! Can't say I am surprised... Everyone I know who's sailed MSC always says that the ships are beautiful, but service is so-so and the food is tasteless and nothing special. Glad you had your experience.
