I'm a big fan. Your channel seams to be transitioning to be more Cruise related, which is fine if that is the lane you feel is best for you. But I gotta tell ya, I miss the Michael that lived in the DC area and would take us on trips to Disney World. Your enthusiasm and love for Disney was contagious.

My granddaughter Stephanie and I (who thinks Mike is so cute) started watching for Disney content. I do hope he moves to cover way more cruising content since Disney vlogging content is over saturated. Because of Mike's coverage of cruising, I'm finally going on a Disney cruise with my granddaughter. Mikey's coverage of cruising is A+. Keep up the good work my man.

Michael, one very important difference about MSC is that it offers a lot more quiet seating spots and ocean views on their Ships-especially the ones that start with “Sea”. So it can be a preference for many. I love a mix so I sail Royal, Celebrity and NCL also. Can’t afford Disney. 🙂

Your disdain for Carnival is apparent but what's not apparent is the reason why. You've literally never stepped foot on one of their ships and you've already made your mind up. "A closed mind is a good thing to lose."

He did mention in a video a while back that Carnival is not on the top of his list to try because of their safety rating. He also mentioned a lot of the incidents they’ve had recently and why he doesn’t feel safe cruising with them.

@@michellepearce2922 That’s silly, imo. Carnival itself has 25 ships, literally 5x as many as Disney, and have been in operation since 1972. Their umbrella corporation has 87 ships sailing under 9 brands. They wouldn’t be the biggest cruise line in the world if the safety of their ships was an issue. Their newest ships are some of the biggest and best in the world but Michael won’t go on them because “safety”? This frustration isn’t directed at you, rather at Michael’s unearned contempt of the largest cruise line in the world. I don’t get it… 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was on the Miami debut of MSC Seashore and will be on the Miami debut of MSC Seascape. MSC can be a bit wonky, but it's a great value. 7 days with the drinks and internet packages will be less than half my 3 night Disney Dream cruise. The food on DCL is way better.

Not necessarily. With his foot injury and with him doing a lot of non-Disney/cruise traveling, he had these lined up for the time he is out. He will get back to Disney and his other video content soon. 😀

We sail on Seascape Dec 18th. Excited as its my first time on new ship... 2nd MSC but sailed most of the other lines . My 20th cruise? Lost count.

MSC is just trying the American market and see how it goes, that's why they started with MSC Divina, which was not a brand new ship but being part of the Fantasy Class, it's still a great ship. The more recent ones, the Seashore and now the Seascape will give more fight to Royal and NCL that's for sure. And, they're just announced recently the new upcoming World America which is their biggest ship ever! When it comes to food and entertainment on board they're still far from Royal standards, however they're trying hard and getting bigger and bigger, so Watch out competence!! 😄

Two things, the language issues. Don't forget they're having big trouble getting people to work in the cruise line industry right now so a lot of those people are first timers or have only worked for cruise lines in their native language. Also expected big pushes by MSC because this year they became one of the title sponsors for the formula 1 season and that's a lot of millions of dollars that is being shown to the entire world.

just ran a cost comparison for 7 night january msc seascape cruise and it was similarly priced to carnival glory/ norwegian breakaway just to give you another data point.

Seascape will be à brand new ship but it's an "old" design (Seaside was the first of the class in 2017), the next new ship design for MSC will be the World class who will start this year.

Comparing MSC to Disney in any way is like comparing Spirit Airlines to Singapore Airlines. You get what you pay for and there is a function for both, but not comparable at all. Maybe compare MSC and Carnival.

I feel msc is cruise line to watch grow and surprise customers My first time the ship had all information in 7 languages and no American fast food like hot dogs and hamburgers 😄. On my 2nd trip the ship had hamburger and hotdogs while all information was in English…… 3 rd time was on new seaside … I was talking to staff about plans the cruise line has …. I was was glad to hear the company has big plans for the us market… I feel carnival and Roy Caribbean should watch out because msc will keep growing and one day will be one cruise line in the world My view point I enjoy other cruise ships but msc I enjoy the most Disney was very disappointed and cancel my trip with them I respect your view point on Disney but it’s too much money and service was not great

None of these prices that he is mentioning have taxes or fees. So you better put on there about another $ 300 to $500 per couple.

I don't care for the balcony staterooms on the fore and aft sections of the MSC Seaside class of ships. They have no privacy. Everybody can look up and see you and you can look down and see other people on their balcony's. Also, I don't care for the "lines' of these ships. They look too tall and just kind of wonky to me. I hope they do better with their next class of ships. That said I am very much looking for my May cruise on the Seascape.

If you ever do breakdown and take a carnival, I highly recommend not. During the time when kids are out of school at college nor any of the shorter excursions, I would stick with the least one week or longer trips. The shorter ones are a total frat party experience. Sometimes in your week-long ones are more family orientated. I've yet to take one yet myself but this is what I've been told

The only market they can capture is cheapskates. Easily. The most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had have been on a msc ships. People that drive Hyundai kias will love this cruise because all they care about is getting something for $200 whether it’s a piece of junk car or a piece of junk cruise
