Stamina seems to be an issue you are aware of, but do nothing about. Keeping food and water on you or at least in your vehicle as well as vitamins and pain killers will keep those debufs from draining your stamina and health. Ask yourself how many times you have died, essentially because you ran out of stamina and couldn't get away... PS. Working stiffs is actually a good place to look for the books you need for the wrench, so are cars. Up to you, but it's probably the most useful tool in the game, so I always put one of my first points into Salvage Operations. First, you get either the books or the actual wrench sooner, I typically have a wrench by no later than Day 3 and more often either on Day 1 or 2. But you keep collecting the paper you never use, instead of dedicating that slot to something you will use.

@@Troytheaterau Yes, but one of the reasons you get trapped is that your stamina is often so low that you can't react. Any debuf that affects your stamina makes you more vulnerable.
