Finally!! I completed my first card set... and it only took me 62 years!

Finishing a set= soooooo good! Congrats!!! A checklist to finish that cool set!!!?? I also build sets! My first football set was similar to yours….1990 Fleer Football😂😂 I’m a 49er fan and just recently got back the Billy Kilmer Reprint of this card!!! Great job!!!

Thanks. Just weird that they've just been sitting in a box for years and I didn't know I was that close to finishing the set until I sorted them by number. My Dad was a 49er fan. I was a Rams fan. Back in the day they were the closest teams to Washington state. My Dad liked the 49ers because Hugh McElhenny was a 49er and was a University of Washington All-American. I think he said he had a class(es) with him. My Dad was an art major, so it figures that a football player may take art classes. lol

I have recently separated 70s baseball into their own 800 count boxes to be put into order next- I love doing that!!! 74, 75, 76, 77. I’m closest on the 73 and 78. That’s very cool about your dad!

Nice that you were able to finish your first set. This is such a beautiful set to own. I don't collect football cards except I do own most of the stars from the 1970 set. My first year of collecting at age 10. I like the look of your set so much that I made my own hand made version with images of my Red Sox greats. Thanks for sharing your completed set.

Topps 1962 football is a unique design with the panels. I wish Topps would sort cards by number and teams now. Amy reason why they didn't keep the same colors for the same teams for the panel that contains their name?

Very cool set. Sorry 71 Topps, these are the original black beauties. Funny that Dave Middleton looks to be the only card besides the team cards to have a solid yellow background. The others look like natural settings. Congrats!

Congrats on finishing your first set. The 1962 Topps Football set is a beauty! Love those LA Rams cards, but it looks like Topps didn't make as many cards as some of teams. How long did it take you to put the set together?

@@RickAcostaDodgerCardCollector haha. They were all pack pulled or friend traded in 1962. This last year I pulled the set out and put them in numerical order and determined that I only needed checklist #76. 😅 Which I bought on eBay last month. So 62 years. 😂
