Verna is priced from Rs 9.3 lakh to Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Hyundai offers the mid size sedan in four variants: S, S+, SX, and SX(O).
Verna comes with two petrol and one diesel engine -- a 1.5-litre petrol (115PS/144Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm), and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (120PS/172Nm). The 1.5-litre petrol engine is offered with the choice of a 6-speed MT or CVT, while the 1.5-litre diesel gets a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. Hyundai offers the turbo-petrol engine only with a 7-speed DCT.

1) Ventilated seats will work only when you remove plastic from seats. 2) CVT has infinite gear ratios. So there are no 2nd or 3rd gear. Car accelerating in delayed manner after giving high throttle is known as rubber band effect which every CVT car has.

AksHay Kr Correct. I am from a small village but even I have heard about that thing called loan. For a 15 lakh car, you would need 30k per month for installment+insurance+maintenance+tires. On top of that you need petrol so you are looking at approx 35k-40k for your transportation cost. The way I look at it - how much is this in terms of percentage of my salary? If I make only 15 lakh per annum and my net is 1 lakh per month then this car is not for me. Loans are funny things, you are committing yourself for next 5 years. Today if I am not married, i probably will be married by then. If i am married but don’t have kids, I probably will have kids by then. I may not have a job by then. Car is a tool which should make my life comfortable but if that puts me or my finances under any kind of stress, then I don’t need a big car.

But city is not a value for money car. Slightly overpriced. In terms of performance Verna is better than city in diesel engine and city is better than Verna in petrol engine. And in terms of features Verna is better than city. But city has more space and it is also a little more luxurious than Verna. While Verna is sportier than city.

@@surajsaroj8956 I m talking about next generation city ,yes u r right that 2017-20 city is slighty overpriced and have very less power in diesel engine but petrol is still better than verna and today the price of verna 2020 top model is arond 18 lac on road which is hugely overpriced and all 3 engines of new generation verna has less power than upcoming city and current model also . Most important thing is that verna has less space than i20 . Today in 2020 almost every single thing is raising height in terms of price.

No space, saw it today in showroom. This is not a big car. There's no space both in front and rear seats. Grand i10 has better room than this. Not sure why people are boasting it as bigger car. Rear seats are crumpled and really uncomfortable to sit. Check other options if space is the only motive to buy this Hyundai's self proclaimed beast.
