And whats the motivation of an Income tax inspector to be in his home cadre? In certain cases it could be related to his intentions of taking bribe. And the department must have noticed this and stopped taking such transfer requests

Live example why u should always choose Home location more than better post and Delhi location. Infact people do mistake of taking Delhi. Always take home location guys. Delhi ke chakar mai people even fill CSS and then later regret. Post and location se pehle family and personal life aate hai, professional life is just a part! Kamana kisske liye hai, upar lekar thode jaana hai paisa! khale haat aae the khaale haat jana hai, so better to live happily and with apno ke saath!

Hello. I am from CGL 2014 batch. Got Excise department in other state. Whatever he is saying is very true. Please be very careful while filing your post preferences. 2800/- GP in home state is far better than getting 4600/- GP in other state. I can't change my past but I actually regret. Family should be above all.

I too could have got Excise Inspector post through CGL 2014, but chose to settle for Accountant in C&AG in home state. Even didn't join AAO post in other state which I got through CGL 16. On my way to get 5400 within two years.

And one thing for sure A SUGGESTION TO THOSE CANDIDATES WHO WANT TO RESIGN JUST AFTER ONE OR TWO. MONTH JUST WAIT FOR 4-5 MONTH THING WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SETTLE. Last year, a cousin of mine resigned from Delhi SI for Excise inspector in Bengaluru. I'm still wondering if it was a right decision 😅 even the family is not sure. Delhi Police job was tough, hectic and full of corruption (training phase was enough to let him know what kind of things he'd be going through), whereas Excise Inspector job is non transferable. Govt should come up with a robust transfer policy which is also candidate friendly. Maybe regional cut-off could help. Also, thank you sir for the content you provided. I've made notes from your videos. Not preparing for SSC anymore (like many others) but definitely gonna send you the scanned copy after selection in other job.

South Indians generally don't apply much for cgl... All North indians want to go to their home state.. some one would be needed to work in southern states as well...

There is an ongoing anti employee sentiment in the current ruling regime, especially in the central government sector, wherein they are implementing rules that are either stopping or banning previously available humane provisions like inter-charge transfers in central departments across all India in a bid to discourage candidates from joining these services so that everything may be given away to private entrepreneurs (which is nothing but concealed crony capitalism) under the pretext of manpower shortfall. I personally know a guy or two who had initially joined Income Tax Department & Excise Department too in hopes of being transferred to their place of choice but had to resign because all India transfers were stopped by CBDT & CBIC. Sadly this kind of hostility towards employees with zero regard for their families’ welfare is now the norm for the current ruling establishment & they are now looking for all kinds of excuses to lay off employees across all departments & this will lead to a downward trend in the recruitment numbers.

I am working in union bank of india as a clerk....i can easily promote to scale 1 officer...but transfer policy in bank is so hectic....bank will transfer to you far away from your home around 2000km away from home... Now i dont have my father and mother...i am newly married and have baby girl and also responsibility of my brother who is not capable of doing job... So i decided not to take promotion I am happy as a clerk My sallary is not satisfactory but i am happy with my family

Kitna easy hai tum logo ke liye job resign Krna sirf isliye ki home state posting nahi mili but un aspirant ke baare me socho jo bechare mahine me ghar walo se 2000 mangne se pehle bhi 100 baar sochte hai or is umeed me din raat mehnat karte hai taaki mts hi clear ho jaaye or posting chahe andman me mil jaaye ya desh ke Soldier bhi is basis par job quit kar de ki unhe home posting nhi mil rhi to kya hoga is desh ka.

It is courage to take decision, sir you left central govt job due to posting. My friend left the job of cooperative inspector under Punjab govt due to posting. He is Living in Chandigarh, being as rank 6th in PPSC, he wanted his posting in chandigarh, but he was posted near Jalandhar, which was 88km from his home and in probation period , he was getting only 10000 rupees approximately, and he left the job in 2020 after 1 year. But he is fully satisfied with his decision and life now.

I would say, this decision is wrong. Online coaching doesn't have permanent scope of earning. A central govt. job is after all unmatched when compared to the online platform. Maybe ur inexperience or incomplete knowledge about posts details got in between during post preference filling, else you might have easily got home state or nearby city in other posts. Being absent from the the department doesn't help, it only creates negative image in the eyes of senior/colleagues & you seemed mature enough to understand this. Why you didn't gave the exam again? As far as I know, candidates keep giving exam until they get either home state or dream post. Anyways, this was just my POV. Good luck for the future.

Mosty many candidates choose higher grade pay job in far flung area compare to home district/ state job. I am serving in central job from last 9 year but after marriage I came to know the importance of family and home town job. So every candidate should try for nearest job. Aur jo log bolte hai koi bhi job lg jaye pakistan bhi chale jaynge. Bhai abhi apko paise ki jaroorat hai esiliye bol rhe ho jb family and apne local culture se dur rhte hai to money matter nahi krti...Fir ye lagta hai ki chahe money 20000 hazar kam mile kr lenge.....I am telling my own experience.

I am also thinking to leave my job ..I left a bright career of pvt sector..and now there is no turning back ..as much time has gone..pvt sector don't prefer gap candidates as well as govt job resigned candidates..I m stuck..and in dilemma..what to do now..fed up from govt job..no growth is thr.and transfer is not thr..monotonous life...candidates who are preparing for govt job must search for cons of govt job....don't make mistake like many of us..and don't listen to apni community kr sarkari Naukri ki kimat h..in the end u will regret..and who are thinking that excise and iti are very reputed jobs etc etc..they are not..u will be staff ..u r not commissioner..and staff is staff . Bhai I am selected as jr accountant in department of posts through cgl 2020 which is a 2800gp job and I didn't get my home state , but there are transfers in this job I can eventually come to Delhi in future but the promotional aspects of this job are not good 4200gp k baad koi promotion nahi hai. And through 2022 cgl mujhe ta Mila hai in Bengaluru and the current promotions are pretty good there so I am literally confused ki which job I should go with because mujhe in dono me se koi bhi job me abhi settle nahi hona I am still preparing for better aspects

@@ankitagarwal5118 Actually cutoff depends upon vacancies and difficulty level of exam. Although, as per trend if you don't have any reservation, final cut off is pretty high. One should score at least 150+ and 350+ in Pre and Mains (Pre - 200 marks, Mains - 400) respectively. Then, you'll have Descriptive exam of 100marks. And these marks are generally to get a decent or the lowest grade pay post. If you need top post add another 15-30 marks in each tier. On top of this if you need your preferred location, go for rank, idk maybe like top 200 if vacancies are less. And btw, these marks are normalized marks. Also, few posts are less preferred because of the job profile so rank doesn't matter much in those.
