@@edhammel9535 your home screen is a product of the launcher that you use. Try installing and running Nova launcher, it'll allow you to customize the home screen and add widgets and wallpapers and stuff too

That open bluetooth feature is SICK! I've been hoping for that with the Joying and Teyes radios for my truck build. My plan would be to have the radio control a bunch of the accessories installed which have Bluetooth apps. It will be a big time feature. Some of the accessories that can be controlled by an app in my truck are lighting (blueghozt), my ac system (restomod air) air suspension, gauges (dakota digital hdx), pedal commander, interior switches (switch pros/trigger6), and most importantly my Helix Ultra dsp!

VERY rarely. The angle it sits at makes glare a non-issue EXCEPT sometimes when the sunroof is open and sun shines directly on it. Thx for watching!!

Finally the wait is over. Just got my mark 6 in hand. Once that shipping starts moving it moves and gets here quick. Installing this week. I want to add the boxing is superior. Yep check around 10:32 for OEM control integrations. kzbin.infoMtOzjjUtMGU?feature=share for drive mode selection It sends sound via the AUX channel so it still benefits from all the Bose post processing/center stage etc. Additionally it has a 16 band EQ so you can find tune to your liking 🤘🏾

Equal or better. It's basically sending audio over the aux channel so there won't be any big difference in quality. The potential benefit is in the ability to find tune the sound to your liking with the 16 band EQ

I am really considering buying this unit for my q50 but am also really skeptical due to the many issues people have expressed in the main page such as bad CarPlay connectivity, Bluetooth cutting in and out, and some other details. Awesome vid bro. You really helped me install my mk6. The only this i couldnt figure out was how to put movies, pics, etc. on the screen. I tried using a hard drive and hooking it up to the 2 usb ports but nothing worked. i couldnt access it on the windows app. havent tried a another hard drive (usb) yet

There should be an app called APKInstaller that lets you reinstall the preloaded apps. For any other apps, you'll need to reinstall from the play store.

They'll fit. The harness is different but otherwise everything is exactly the same. Make sure you're subscribed, you might see a digital cluster thumbnail pop up any time 😈

Great informative video. Question, do the Mark6 have RCA outputs so you can add aftermarket amplifier using RCA cables instead of splicing the wire harness. This would be a great feature to introduce if it isn’t already.

Yes it comes with RCA outs, but the subwoofer pre-amp isn't volume controlled so you'd need an external volume knob for it.
