I would consider putting in Farewelcome Labrynth. that is like *the* best set off of Archfiend, bar none. It pops any card on attack dec, then sets *another* trap from the deck. it's insane It's dead *without* Archfiend, but you already have multiple cards that don't do anything without another particular card, so worth thinking about

His current deck really isn't level 3 focused, and Buzzsaw would need the other Level 4 level changer (Lantern Shark) to summon rank 3s more easily. In a deck with more Level 3s, sure, but right now it's not happening.

For a next time: if you have mole cricket during your turn with opponent having nothing, it is still worth using it to get at least camellia on the field, since on their turn you have mole cricket's own effect to summon from grave or camellia effect to summon from grave. So not using it is typically a loss of 1 body.

Masochist is the peak of master duel content, the best way to play, the hardest challenge that makes this meta almost bearable. Pulling a broken 2023+ card is so significant when your deck is full of random stuff. It's also a challenge that defies rarity, which is so cool! Konami, who made all their money by making good cards expensive, could never come up with this.

Weird take considering that Yugioh isn’t known for its outlandish card prices. The most expensive recent release is $950 for a QCR, of arguably the most ineffective and uninteresting fusions I’ve seen in a while (yes, I am talking about Magia), isn’t what I’d call price gouging on Konami’s part, especially considering they don’t have any control or set the value or prices on the second hand market. They don’t see the money from single card sales or second hand market sales. Plus, no reserve list, so Magia is probably gonna get reprinted a couple times. Which will mess with the price. Card availability/pricing isn’t a problem in Yugioh. You wanna talk about price gouging, go try to build a competitive meta deck from scratch by buying cards in Magic sometime. My Blue-Eyes deck is gonna run me $150+ to complete, my significant other’s Kaalia deck in Magic is gonna run her a bare minimum of $1,500 to put together, and that’s based off non-foil/non-special prices.

Alex keep in mind, sunflower can negate activated effect from anywhere that means you can stop the GY or even the hand. Yes, horneedle can pop multiple cards that is nice but sunflower has much flexability overall. The only problem im seeing with sunflower is the stats, if your opponent doesnt commit to the board it could take long time to win the game. Its reasonable cut sunflower in the water variant but on the bergram variant you should absolutly have to play it.

World Legacy Clash in damage step is OP!!! Dodges targeting effects, works like shrink in damage step/calc, lowers your number of monsters in zones to pair well with other card abilities, etc.

It's an old Duel Links staple. Banish during damage step to stop the attack, then lower the attack of another monster. It also protects your monster, so it's kinda crazy.

I started my own masochist run and I was quite happy with my pulls, nothing OP but there were some good pulls like numeria and wing blast. And... 3 hours, after 3 hours I managed to win a duel. It was miserable. When I had a good hand, my opponent was using a good deck. If my opponent was on my level, my draws were horrible and had always the out. All I can say is, FLOGOS MVP LETS GO!!!! hard carried against the synchro starter deck. And I am not kidding, I was practically brain dead in that duel after 3 hours of despair but even with a lot of my misplays, FLOGOS solo carried the duel.

With how readily you can get out your naturia names now, I think there is a real argument to be made for more naturia names at this point, especially rosewhip. Molecricket has made the biggest possible impact on the account out of any other card you have pulled by this point.

Heya, i had 2 ideas in mind for the deck that could help it, first will be kind of controversial, but i think you should cut ogre, its a win more card against decks that dont do anything, and a brick against things that do, especially when drawing later in the game and you have any monsters. The second idea is to put in some lvl 6 syncros because thanks to sunflower you have access to that, and with that you could also change the umi to lemuria, so any 2 level 4 waters will become an access to rank 6 plays, and combining that with the syncros ties the engine together. sidenote: world legacy clash is really flexible, you can do a lot of shenanigans with it during longer resource-intensive games.
