Sohail, fair point. However, MSIL manufactures the 3 door for export from the same factory. Biggest advantage of the 3 door is it’s smaller turning radius and can be offered for less money than the 5 door.

@@srschhina5295 yes, indeed they have a production GJ and advantages are their as well as takers, since MM thar is flying off the shelves. But considering the price point i dont think there will be much difference since the only cost savings will be steel and fibre which is a smaller percentage compared the mechanical (engine transmission axle etc and electronic components like ecu hydraulics) being of the same standard. For e.g Scorpio N is larger in dimensions compared to Fortuner yet costs half of it. And in terms of Tax the 4 door already is sub four metre so the smaller one would be in the tax slab.
