I recently switched to a tofu litter mix if you’re gonna be scooping anyway, and not using the litter robot it’s the best. I use the brand Pidan and I get an auto shipped from chewy. It’s flushable, lightweight, controls odor, and it clumps the pee better then clay litter. So you don’t get those little break off bits that make you have to change out all the litter. The litter pieces are bigger so it doesn’t track as much all over the place like clay litter does. It’s much more environmentally friendly it biodegrades quickly, unlike clay litter which doesn’t degrade it takes 1000s years to fully decompose. Also the dust that comes off of clay litter is not good for cats or humans.
