Greetings Expat Ghana, awesome, an interview with Vanessa Kanbi, you both have a lot in common with deep roots in Ghanaian culture. Also Iyo and Vanessa have an similar aura as Tony already hinted at earlier. Vanessa Kanbi like Iyo is a very humble and kind hearted with lots to share on both channels. Surely this looks like a friendship that will last a lifetime in Ghana. Thanks for sharing Expat Life Ghana, I am headed to Vanessa's channel to view the other half.

Saw you guys on Vanessa Kanbi's channel. My interest in possibly relocating to Ghana is peaked. In research-mode. I was in Accra in 2014 for a day en route to Sao Tome and Principe where I lived and worked for three years. Subscribed!

I really looked forward to this Interview. I admire Vanessa and have followed her for awhile. The fact that you guys linked up is great for people looking for more than one perspective on moving to/living in Ghana. The stories and tips that you both share are priceless. Next you need to chat with the Acheampong family. I subscribe to limited channels about living in Ghana. You 3 are my tops. I am coming to Ghana in November. I visited before in 2017. I am seriously contemplating moving for 6 months out of the year. I had such a great time with Africa with Us the group I traveled with. They take people from the US to visit places in Africa. Coach Cass or Kukuwa would be great people to interview. I will contact you guys as it gets closer to my trip date. Great Interview!

Enjoyed this interview our relocating to Ghana is slightly different I am mixed race married to a Ghanaian/Nigerian who is a retiree have been coming to Ghana since 1978. And now relocating. Children Grown up who came to Ghana on holiday through the decades. So we are very used to Ghana . Have relatives there and friends who have relocated from UK Did all my shipping from Uk furniture from IKEA. We wanted a certain standard in furniture and style. The Ghana cane furniture for outside we will purchase In Ghana. In Jan 2020 we needed a plunger so brought one in Ghana the rubber was awful and expensive so Now we are shipping one which is of a good standard and cheaper As retirees we find the climate much better for our health in Ghana. If you plan and have an income you can live a reasonable standard of living. With all the amenities you have in the west.
